About Greg and Carol Jackson
Carol and Greg are native Houstonians who moved to Austin in 1996, although Greg worked as a musician and Carol attended UT in Austin in the 70's. Greg has returned to being a full time musician and Carol now practices acupuncture in our home and also in a clinic. Please let us know if you are interested in an Acupuncture Treatment, Massage, or Herbal Consultation.
Greg and Carol Jackson purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why Greg and Carol Jackson chose Hyde Park
We had lived out in the Hill Country and decided that we wanted to live in town when Carol started her acupuncture practice. We fell in love with the Hyde Park neighborhood and neighbors, as well as our 100+ year old Victorian home. Greg is an accomplished builder and carpenter, so the wonderful old house offers many remodeling project opportunities - we're not quite finished!
What makes this Apartment unique
We love living here in the historic Hyde Park neighborhood where we actually know and visit with our neighbors. This is a place where everyone gets out for walks, jogs, and bike rides and everyone takes the time to get to know one another. We know our guests will experience this first hand as they walk to one of the nearby restaurants or other closeby attractions

Hyde Park respite
Enjoyed a quiet, comfortable, and convenient apartment in the heart of Hyde Park. Looking forward to our next visit.
We spent a weekend at this lovely apartment. It had all the amenities of home and was the perfect place for a weekend getaway for two. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. There are many restaurants and shops close by. Greg met us upon arrival to show us the property. We enjoyed our time here very much and we will definitely be back!
Clean, Green, and Cozy
My husband and I stayed here for 3 days inbetween Waco and San Antonio. We walked into the separate entrance and there were fresh cut flowers from their garden sitting on our kitchen table. I was shocked at just how clean it was- spotless. I appreciated the non-GMO shampoo, lotion, and conditioner as well as them collecting recycling. You could tell that they tried to make things sustainable which I really respected. It is small details like that that make you know that you are going to have a nice stay. Everything you needed to cook was here as well as any toiletries. I felt at ease here, so relaxed. I would stay here over a hotel any day!
A Wonderful Experience!
Carol and Greg offer a delightful stay! If you forgot it, you'll probably find it somewhere in the Hideaway. The location was perfect for us. The unit was clean and well furnished. The area is very quiet, peaceful. These hosts were very hospitable. We would definitely return.
Charming and functional place, very reasonable
This is a beautiful place in a great neighborhood with lots of privacy, walking distance to good restaurants and Central Market. Clean, good service, reasonably priced.
Fabulous in every way!
Great location. Super clean and every amenity imaginable. I want to move here!
