Jessica Noonan purchased this house in 2006
Have owned the home for several years and rented to School of Mine Students during the school year and as a vacation rental in the summer. Decided to go full time vacation rental due to the shortage of homes in Golden and it's high demand for more housing for visitors.
Walking distance to Downtown and busline just a few steps from home. Great destination to visit and very convenient. You will feel like your at home away from home. Clean and well maintained.
Six of our immediate family stayed for six days to attend a family wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and with some planning, found the one bath to not be a problem. We walked to local, independent coffee shops (Windy Saddle & Higher Grounds),to dinner each night and to the Coors tour. Most of our party climbed to the top of Table Mountain behind the house. The house owner was very easy to work with - good communication.
The Blue Home is charming, well stocked, very clean and Jessica is extremely accommodating and responsive to our needs.
Perfect location to downtown, Safeway, Starbucks and to Table Mountain South trailhead.
The upstairs landing has a beautiful reading nook that was used every morning.
My mother, sister, granddaugher and I spent a long weekend in Golden to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday.
We would recommend this home with no hesitation.
We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and the great front porch! It is an easy walk to downtown Golden which has everything! Don't miss the walk along the creek or The Golden Diner on 12th St. We also enjoyed dinner at The Table Mountain Inn. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot! What more do you need for a good vacation?!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Golden Bed. It is a pleasant and comfortable place in an excellent location, an easy walk to downtown shops, cafes, and restaurants. On the shady front porch we relaxed while looking at Castle Rock. The owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful. We look forward to coming back here the next time we visit Golden.

My family stayed in Golden for a month in our wonderful blue house. It has a front, inclosed porch where you can cocktail and watch the sun set. You are minutes away from walking to many restaurants, art center, Colorado University of Mines, shopping, Coors Brewery, etc. You can see the Table Mesa from the house which we all climbed. There is a fenced in yard with a porch and grill. This house has everything you need to enjoy Golden and feel at home. We're coming back.
This place was perfect for us. We came in for a wedding and stayed with two other couples. It's just a block from downtown and all the festivities that we were attending. The house is spacious, 3 queen bedrooms, great front porch area, and a nice Victorian feel. The house/kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. Only downside is that the walls are a little thin/creaky, but you really can't beat the location and amenities.
