Everything as advertised.

  • 5 of 5

This is an outstanding property to get away from the daily grind of the real world and enjoy the beautiful Rocky Mountains. It is very convenient (5 minutes) to Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking adventures and within 45 minute drive to whitewater rafting. If you just want to relax, then just stay at the log cabin and enjoy the lake. When we arrived, we were welcomed by a Moose and her young calf bathing in the lake. A couple nights later, we had a young bull moose meander by as we were making s'mores at the campfire. The owner was great to work with before, during and after renting. We had an issue with the refrigerator and he had it fixed that day - on a Saturday. I would recommend to both adventurers and those that just want to escape.

So much fun we had to return!

  • 5 of 5

A few weeks after our last visit we all decided we just had to go back. We have and never will see snow like we saw during our visit. Between snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and sledding we packed a whole winter into just a few days. I believe our first morning the temp was showing to be -16...yikes! But the house was able to handle the cold temps that we had during our stay. The views are across the lake are breathtaking, and it is so peaceful just looking out. Even as cold as it was, you must wander outside and star gaze. I hope we will be able to make another trip in 2018.

The Perfect Place

  • 5 of 5

I don't know how I could have forgotten to review out stay back in November. After staying in several places in and around Grand Lake we finally found the perfect place. Everything about this home was just what we were looking for. Even with a toddler in tow it worked out perfectly. Everyone in our family were in agreement that this would be our vacation spot from now on. For the first time we ate every meal at the house.

The views are beautiful and we all loved being so close the the park we would just hike in 7 or 8 miles. We didn't see much wildlife, with the exception of the neighborhood fox's nightly visits, the birds that gathered every morning, and some really huge squirrels. Thankfully we just missed the old bear that was looking for food by the house right before we arrived that evening.

Beautiful, special destination!

  • 5 of 5

The house was beautiful and well-maintained. The space was perfect for two families with children. The house was stocked with thoughtful amenities. We loved the outdoor space (porches, dock, campfire pit, etc) and guests (including a fox and several moose!). Hope to make a return visit one day soon!

Nice cabin on an idyllic lake

  • 5 of 5

Our group of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Cabin was as-advertised with a nice dock right on the small, pristine lake. It met all our needs. Friendly people nearby. Cabin was minutes from the town of Grand Lake and RMNP entrance. During our stay we saw moose, pelicans, geese, hummingbirds, etc. Great deck for observation. All in all a lovely property and on we would consider renting again.

Peaceful and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Moose Tracks Manor was wonderful! The cabin was great, a relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife - moose, foxes, osprey, white pelicans, hummingbirds. We loved paddling and rowing on the private lake in the canoe and row boat. We were pleasantly surprised by downtown Grand Lake. There were several nice restaurants and coffee shops, and plenty of fun shops for gifts and souvenirs.
