Relaxing vacation at litengard on the lake.

  • 5 of 5

This was our second year staying at Litengard. Both years were wonderful. Such a beautiful view sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck in the morning, fishing off the dock and cruising the lake in a small fishing boat. We were there over July 4th and enjoyed the fireworks display over the lake. The home itself was very clean and had everything a vacationer would need. It differently is not your average summer rental.

Owner's Response: Ann is the greatest guest! She treats Litengard like her own, cares for the home and property. She even watered the flower boxes.

Perfect Lake House!

  • 5 of 5

I rented this property for the weekend that I was bringing my son to college in the area. The house was fantastic, and the grounds and lake were truly amazing. I have stayed in many, many lake houses, and this one is by far the best. Every aspect of it - from the fixtures, to the beautiful bathroom to the linens - are top-quality. I highly recommend this house!

Perfect in every way!

  • 5 of 5

We spent 6 beautiful and perfect nights at the Stuga! This cottage is breathtaking inside and out. It provided my family, including two small children, the comfort, relaxation, and adventure we needed. The inside is beautifully built, decorated, and maintained, and is fully equipped. Margaret had plenty of little extras that made my children's faces light up the minute they walked in the door - S'mores bar ingredients and sticks to roast marshmallows, fresh cookies baked in a basket, fishing lines and tackle box ready to go, binoculars, fun games and books, cuddly blankets and more. The interior is pristine and stylishly decorated with all towels and amenities provided. The exterior is also perfectly set up for fun: beautiful dock with boats and kayaks ready to be taken out, wood cut up for bonfires, lovely hammock, plenty of spaces to sit and watch the stunning views and enjoy the sunshine.

We honestly could not have asked for a more perfect vacation. Every minute was full of love and fun! Our motto became: "Happiness lives here!"

Thank you Margaret and family for making our vacation a truly enjoyable and memorable one!

We are already planning our return.
