My family and I had a wonderful stay at Ryan's house. We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen and bathroom (the shower was especially nice and roomy). My young son thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the park across the street. The kitchen was well equipped with a very nice stove, refrigerator and lots of counter space. Ryan was nearby and always very nice and helpful with any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this rental and would enjoy staying there again in the future.
Petite maison dans un quartier très calme, propre, bien décorée. Très bon accueil de Ryan qui nous a aussi donné des bon conseils. A recommander .
I travel to Los Angeles frequently and enjoy renting homes instead of staying in hotels. This home was very enjoyable. The features I especially liked are:
*Spanish style white stucco cottage with beautiful hot pink bougainvillea cascading over the entryway
*Nicely decorated in a Nautical/Beach theme throughout
*comfortable beds/pillows and nice linens
*jacuzzi, deck and patio set with privacy
*boogie and surf boards and 2 bicycles available for use
*enclosed private gated driveway
*modern bathroom fixtures, tiled seated shower
** Serious problem with MOLD in the bathroom** The bathroom floor seems to be the site of origin and it runs up the baseboards and walls. This is a serious issue that can cause health problems and needs to be remediated immediately.**
*wires hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom where it appears a smoke detector once lived...where is it now? shouldn't there be one in each bedroom?
*only one mirror in the home and that is in the single bathroom. please consider placing mirrors in each bedroom.
*no paper towels, no additional kitchen linens available- only 2 kitchen towels in kitchen
*manufacturer sticker left on window in shower
*light fixture above bathroom sink and plug to the left of the sink did not work
If these features where corrected the house would easily be 5 out of 5 stars. I certainly to visit again if corrections are made as it met my needs while visiting Los Angeles.
The house is beautifully decorated and very cozy. We enjoyed using the backyard jacuzzi and it is very private. It is close and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Abbott Kinney. I felt like a Venice local for my whole stay and cannot wait to book this property again. Ryan is an awesome owner and was available if we needed anything.
Thanks again Ryan for being so kind.
Our multi-generational family stayed in Ryan's home while in Los Angeles for my daughter's college graduation. My mom, brother, sister-in-law, and I had plenty of space for the days we were there, and my daughter joined us one night and slept comfortably on the fold-out ottoman bed. The walk-in shower was perfect for my mom, who has some mobility issues.
Ryan was easily reachable by phone the few times I needed something, and the place was spotless when we arrived. The backyard is tranquil, and doors from the kitchen and one bedroom open into it.
The immediate area is residential, with a park across the street. Although the park was fairly busy during the day, it's quite large and there was no appreciable noise. Major streets are nearby so it's easy to get around. I actually took a bus from the airport to Venice and only walked a few blocks from the bus stop. The neighborhood is walkable and within easy reach of grocery stores, the beach, or restaurants. I'd absolutely stay again.
