I will never rent from Kees Vacations again. This property was dirty, poorly maintained, and just generally a dump. When we arrived the siding was falling off the outside of the condo. Inside the "maid" had left a bag of dirty linens on the dining room table and a bag of trash on the floor. The tables were sticky, the floor was dirty. We attempted to call the "emergency" number that Kees left on the refrigerator and were put on hold for 30 minutes. I finally gave up. The next day we tried to put something in the dryer and it was broken. The ceiling fan was also broken. Again I called Kees and was on hold for 30 minutes with no answer. I finally submitted a complaint on the Kees website and a maintenance man came over. He picked up the trash and the dirty linens, but did not fix anything. I filed another complaint on the Kees website with no response. We left a day early because we just could not stand to stay one more night in such a disgusting place. One of the worst places I have ever stayed in--and I use HomeAway frequently. Such a shame because the location of the condo is really good. It has just been allowed to turn into a dirty slum.
This was a great place in a great location. Place was clean with beautiful views of the water. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay.
My husband and I celebrated our 1 year Anniversary at OBX. We were only the 2nd renters EVER in this unit. EVERYTHING is newly remodled and very clean. They thought of everything that you might need while you are away from home! The pictures reflect the unit and we actually got to meet the owners! They were SO nice and WE WILL BE BACK and will tell our friends and family about it. :)
Situated in the middle of the northern beaches, Kill Devil Hills is in the heart of the outer banks. Wilbur and Orville wright were successful in making four flights in Kill Devil Hills at the base of the big hill that is now a part of the Wright Brothers National Memorial.
