Town-home 3 Bedroom + Queen Size Pull Out Couch, 2.5 Baths, (sleeps 8)

We invite you to visit our vacation home in quiet Shalimar FL. Off the beaten path, just 5 miles from the sugar white sandy beaches of Fort Walton Beach. Located in the Portofino Association that offers a beautiful pool and well manicured lawns within a gated community common area.

This is truly our home away from home and you will enjoy all the extras. Lots of green grassy areas to throw frisbees or just lounge by the pool. Two outside parking spots and a large community parking lot one door away (to park your RV or boat and trailer).

Tile flooring on bottom floor, new carpet on second floor (bedrooms)

Queen beds in two bedrooms, two twin beds in third bedroom, queen size pull out couch in living room.

Master bedroom has gigantic walk-in closet.

2 full baths, with tub/shower on second floor and a half bath on 1st floor.

Stone fireplace

Washer/Dryer (located upstairs near the bedrooms)

Fully equipped kitchen (dishes and silverware for 8, toaster, Mr. Coffee, Knife set, cutting board, Pyrex bowls, can opener, pots and pans, cookie sheets, Refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, and dishwasher, and much more).

Ironing Board with iron.

All linens provided except beach towels.

Must be 18 years old to rent. We find that most 18 year olds are responsible adults. We hope you fall into this category.

We ask that you respect our neighbors, not have loud parties after 10 PM and not damage our property. We do require a $500 refundable damage deposit for those accidents that inevitably happen, but serious purposeful damage will be prosecuted.

Please note that the garage is not offered as part of this rental. There is termite damage in the garage and not suitable for use at this time.

About Jonnie Blaylock

I first visited the Emerald Coast as a Second Lieutenant in the Army in 1974 and fell in love with the area. In 1987 I got the chance to move here and work at Eglin AFB as an electronics engineer.

Why Jonnie Blaylock chose Florida

When we decided to get into the vacation rental business, we decided that we wanted to concentrate on making vacationing more affordable to families visiting the Emerald Coast. Our properties are different than the typical beach front condo, in that we are located in quiet neighborhoods, away from the hustle and bustle of the typical tourist crowd. They are typically within 8 miles of the beach, and usually at least $1000 less expensive per week.

great accommodations for families

Very happy with our accommodations. the interior courtyard was great for kids , walking and jogging.Nice pool and refreshing to have it outside our door. Plenty of room for our group. Mr Blaylock is very nice to deal with if you have any problems. We had a very minor one.Would definitely stay there again!

Home away from home!

This was our second stay and I'm sure it won't be our last. More than enough space and amenities whether the kids were awake or asleep. Everything we needed was close at hand. We greatly appreciate all the efforts the owner has put into making this place a home away from home.

Great place to stay!

Mr. Jonnie was a great person to rent from. Didn't have anyone there Day of check in so he let us come earlier. Very nice man and will definitely rent from him again if we ever go back to Shalimar. House 🏡 is nice and kids loved to have a pool in backyard. Well taken care of. Could be a little closer to beach 🌊 but enjoyed the no traffic and no noise. Thx Mr. Jonnie!

Perfect

This place was exactly what we needed. We were in town with family for a high school graduation. Perfect location for us minutes to the beach. House had 3 nice bedrooms 2 full and a 1/2 bath and spacious living/dining area. Made it nice to relax with family instead of sitting in a hotel lobby or on your bed. Will for certain use again. Great place!
