Our home is decorated with mementos from memento. Were often in the village enjoying the summer festivities. We like to congregate on the porch or in our garden. Come down memory lane with guests.
Joseph purchased this apartment in 2011
Simply put Bay Ave is the loveliest block in our village. Where everyone keeps a frendly eye on each other. Walk to the corner coffee stops or yoga across the way you'll discover Firehouse Pizza, Antique & home made Del Arte Gelato. Bay House boosts being build by an Ancient Mariner?' Legend has it that our thick floor planks are the boosted remnants from salvaged whaling ships. Booty from the bounty!? Who know?'.
The history of the village, the shopping restaurants or peace and quite of the harbor if you wish. our beautiful backyard gardens summer breezes whisking through the house at dusk. Also Bay House can be rented weekly, and through the winter months as well. The house was renovated 2012 all new appliances. The price is right.
The whole experience was amazing. My wife, 4 year old son, and i were there for the weekend. The apartment was nicely furnished and in order. Greenport is a picturesque place esspecially the area around the house. Thank you Joey Pants!
Rented this property for 2 nights into the weekend with 4 adults and one child (4 years old) - it is on a very quiet street close to a dock, which was a perfect relaxation spot at sunrise and sunset when we were there. The kid was able to ride her scooter up and down the street safely. It is also a very short distance from the main drag - we didn't have to use the car to have dinner and walk around. We visited several beaches close by and took the short ferry ride to Shelter Island and continued beach-hopping there. The house itself is charming and well-kept - we were all comfortable! Would rent this property again!
Bay House was the perfect getaway. The property was charming, comfortable, spacious, clean, well-maintained and an easy walk to Greenport's main streets and attractions. The home is just down the street from a beautiful view of the water, and the owners were easy to deal with, responsive and welcoming. We loved our visit and would go back anytime (and hope to do so in the future!) Would definitely recommend staying here. If you do, make sure you have dinner or lunch at First and South, get gelato at D'latte and check out C.J. Gourmet on Main Street.
This is a quaint historic village with great food, music, live theater, jazz and blues. or clamming. The town center has an old wooden merry-go-round perched at the water's edge surrounded by a park with a stage and bandstand. Utilize the winter on Holiday Fest , don't forget to bring your ice skate to enjoy our outdoor rink across the indoor merry-go-round
