Gorgeous, comfortable, very well equipped property. As described on the site. Very helpful host
We stayed at this lovely home on 81 3rd St in July 2018. The property is as described on the site: it was extremely comfortable, well equipped, spacious and tranquil and in a really great location for visiting Newport and seeing it at its best! We loved having access to the balcony, porch and garden ... these spaces added to our relaxation! The garden is stunning!
Avram had the bikes and kayak ready for our use and was on hand if and when we needed assistance or guidance. As we were staying in Newport, we made use of these and did not need a car rental. Kayaking was a great way to visit the harbour!
The Point is a quiet, mature, residential area, with views of the bridge, access to the water and minutes from the busy centre of town!
We plan to return! We highly recommend the property and our host!
Donna - you are too kind! Thank you so much. I loved having you all here, and would be happy to have you back again!
Good location and value
The apartment is the 2nd floor of the house and it was spacious. It is a simple apt with everything you need. The owner is easy to work with and available when needed.
The area is great to have dogs, there is a nice dog park about 4 blocks away and it has views of the bay and pretty sunsets. You can walk to town but it is about a 20 min walk. Parking was easier than expected. Overall I recommend this rental and would stay again.
Newport was a beautiful place to visit! His place was close to everything and the owner gave great recommendations of things to do and eat that were off the beaten path.
Great location and beautiful garden
We were so blessed to find this place AND it is pet-friendly. The host is so responsive the location is great if you don't mind a short walk (which I do not). And you are one block back from the water and a serene park-like setting by the water.
Everything you need in one space - thank you again for a great time.

Thank you so much - it was a pleasure to have you!
Great location, perfect for our needs - great host
We stayed at this property while in town for Newport Folk Festival. It can be difficult to secure lodging during that weekend and this rental worked out great for our group. The owner, Avram, made our stay so easy - he provided excellent dinner recommendations and made sure we had insider tips on parking and getting around town. We were able to easily park and come and go as needed. The location was perfect! Walking distance to town - we never even had to uber home at night and very accessible to the highway to come and go. This was so much more enjoyable than staying in a hotel with our friends. We were able to all easily hangout together and catch up. Thanks for everything!
Great location, great space!
House was located near town so you can walk or bike to town. Beach tag was an awesome bonus. The VIP parking was under the lockers so your car is in the shade all day and you were right next to the beach.
My house is in The Point section of Newport. This is the most historic and best maintained neighborhood in town. One in five houses are from the 1700's, and more than half are over 100 years old. The neighborhood runs along Narragansett bay from the bridge to the edge of downtown. My house is on a quiet dead-end street with friendly neighbors who own their homes and are proud to show off their neighborhood to newcomers. It is only three blocks to a beautiful park on the water and public pier. It is about a 10 minute walk to downtown. There is a public dinghy dock right in the neighborhood where you can take a launch out to a mooring.
