What makes this apartment unique

The B&B is detached from the house. Rent the two rooms and enjoy the privacy of the entire facility. Stony Hill comfortably accommodates eight people. The beautiful post-and-beam kitchen and living room is shared by both rooms. A queen pull-out sofa is available in the living room. The kitchen has a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, and microwave.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Just wanted to say again how much we enjoyed our stay with you. It far exceeded our expectations! Everything was wonderful, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the homemade bread and everything in between. We even enjoyed your fireworks display from the window. I would recommend your Bed & Breakfast to anyone wanting to stay in your area. I'm hoping we will be able to come back someday.

Pleasant , clean and friendly

  • 5 of 5

The B&B was more than we expected. Very private, warm and we'll stocked. The grounds were peaceful and clean. Very friendly animals to enjoy if we liked. The property was close to a variety of sites and entertainment venues.

Great house in beautiful area

  • 4 of 5

We greatly enjoyed our stay here and the kids loved meeting the animals on the property. The bedrooms are large and we liked the board games and puzzle provided. We took a hike at the nearby star park and really enjoyed the Amish house and farm tour in Lancaster. Highly recommend this property! The kitchen may be challenging for very tall folks (angled ceiling) and we wish a basketball was around to enjoy the back court. Next time!

What a beautiful respite

  • 5 of 5

The gps and loose directions were a challenge (small rural bridge was out). BUT once we got there we loved it. A charming rustic large cottage/barn was just what we needed after driving up from Florida. It was so quiet and peaceful. The pets were very sweet and loving and served as an excellent welcoming committee. Sarah added wonderful touches by supplying cereals, mighty tasty crumb cake, fresh milk, tea, coffee, juice, hot chocolate and other little goodies. The bed in the master was very comfortable and our son enjoyed his room. The old tools mounted on the walls added just the right touch and reminder of the hard work that goes into working the land in Amish country. I have minor feedback for the owner should they ever ask but all in all we loved it and none of us wanted to leave.

This was the perfect Thanksgiving get-away!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B in Lancaster. The fridge was stocked with eggs, fruit, yogurt, milk and orange juice. As previous renters have stated, it is worth the trip just to have the homemade bread and jam! Delicious. The beds were comfortable and everything you might need was provided by the owners. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and family and immediately felt at home when welcomed by the friendly dog, Maya and the cutest cat named Buttercup. We were free to roam the property and soon made friends with the horses and the goat. The setting was just perfect - we couldn't have wished for a better stay in Lancaster! One of the highlights was cooking hot dogs and marshmallows at the fire ring under the stars (wood also provided by the owners). We definitely would like to return.
