About Tamara

We are a family of four who live in Whistler. We are very active skiers, both of our girls ski-race in the winter and ride bikes downhill and cross-country in the summer. Their activities keep us very busy on the mountains! We love everything that Whistler has to offer - and there is no shortage of activities, of that we are certain!

Tamara purchased this townhome in 2009

Why Tamara chose Whistler

We bought our townhouse because we spend a lot of time in Whistler. We have two properties in Whistler, and we thought Glacier's Reach would be a good complex to have a home in because of the private hot tub, the pool, and since it so conveniently close to the village and the mountain gondolas.

What makes this townhome unique

Our girls love the hot tub and the pool, they enjoy the sauna and being directly across from the Marketplace Plaza, we're never far from great restaurants or easy access to shopping.

Ideal Whistler Condo

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to Whistler, and I feel lucky we chose this unit. The unit was clean, well maintained, well equipped, and makes a nice first impression. The location was excellent and just steps away from Whistler village. We are VRBO property owners ourselves, and we appreciated the comfort and attention to detail put into this unit. We would gladly book this unit again.

Best Location and Unit

  • 5 of 5

This was my 3rd stay in Glacier's Reach and the 3rd unit I have stayed in. It is my preferred and now my favorite unit. It got 5 starts in total because :

Tamara is great to communicate and work with. I like to deal with owners who can respond quickly to my questions and inquiries via email. You're a Gem Tamara and thank you so much.

The location is top floor, hidden behind big trees and the patio is private. I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the views! You are across the street from everything you need in the village. The chair lifts are minutes away and you are within steps of numerous dining and shopping options. It is also nice to know that you have parked your car in secured underground parking.

The weekend was so enjoyable and comfortable. I only like to share feedback when my experience has exceeded expectations and this one did. This home will be my #1 choice in our next visit.. If you are contemplating - I highly recommend it.

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent aweekend with his parents at Glaciers Reach. What a lovely and quaint experience. The house was perfect, the kitchen so well equipped (spices, tea, coffee, all the cutlery and crockery you would want), the view was great even in overcast and rain weather. The Marketplace was a short walk away and so was the Village. It was clean and welcoming and felt like our little home away from home. Everything is very well thougt through and makes sense, its easy to find your way around and find what you are looking for. The owner was great in accomodating us and replied promplt on all our questions. I would go back there for my next Whistler stay any day!!

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

My family of 5 (kids aged 11, 8,and 4) spent 10 days here and had a fabulous stay. The townhouse was immaculate when we arrived and included all we needed - including some much-appreciated extras throughout; from the bootheater in the foyer to the saranwrap, sugar, spices, tea and coffee in the kitchen. They seem to have thought of everything - there was even plastic glassware for deck & hottub use. It was located perfectly for us; an easy 3-min shuttle bus to the lift (easier for us than walking through the village with ski gear for the kids, though not so far away that walking would have been do-able too), and close to all of Whistler's shops and amenities. Fabulous playground and open-air skating rink in that end of the village too. Richard and Tamara know Whister well and have put together a great guide to help you navigate your stay. To top it off, it snowed every day we were there. Fantastic vacation.

our winter stay

  • 4 of 5

This place was perfectly positioned near the village and so everything was within walking distance. The property was very clean and stocked with the basics to kick start out holiday which made for a great holiday. If i was to make one suggestion, it is that the double bed be moved the bedroom with the ensuite as the layout was a bit back to front! Otherwise we were all very happy with it

Owner's Response: Thank you for your positive comments - we're happy that you enjoyed your visit! I'm not completely clear about your thoughts on the layout, but in the past people have appreciated having the king-bed option with the ensuite bath in the same room. However, I appreciate that you took the time to offer suggestions for improvement. We hope that you'll visit us in Whistler again!

Wonderful Whistler

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property in Whistler. With its central location, view to the pool and hot tub on the deck it suited both the adults and the children. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean and top notch. The property is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, hiking and biking trails. Our favorite activities were the Peak to Peak gondola experience, with some great hiking trails trails at the top of the mountains.
