SEPTEMBER IS THE PERFECT TIME TO VISIT CAPE COD! The crowds are gone but the weather, beaches, and scenery remain! Your cottage getaway on Cape Cod is located at the rear of our property lot in West Barnstable, Massachusetts in a lush garden setting, central to all that Cape Cod and the Islands has to offer! You will be less than a 5 minute drive from Sandy Neck Beach which includes 4,700 acres of beaches, dunes, maritime forests, and marshes filled with many recreational opportunities. Located in a beautiful setting across from a blueberry farm, our cottage has been totally and lovingly renovated over the past year, and redecorated with new appliances and furnishings. The cottage has a large living room/dining room, kitchen area and bathroom on the first floor. Sliding doors lead you outside to your private garden patio facing the woods. On the second floor is a very large bedroom with twin beds which can be put together to form a king sized bed, if desired. (bedding for either twin beds or king bed will be provided.)
(Our friends from St. Remy de Provence, France loved our beautiful and special cottage when they visited us for three and a half weeks last summer. They made numerous day trips to various locations around New England during their stay with us and are looking forward to a return trip soon!)
Our beautiful, impeccably clean and tastefully decorated cottage was a total labor of love when we completely renovated it last year. We feel that you will find it a perfect little gem, a peaceful getaway, a home away from home.
The cottage is really nice, clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is well situated and very quiet. It is perfect place for a couple. Susan is a sympatic and charming host. Susan est une personne accueillante, sympatique et charmante. We had a wonderfull stay and we hope to return soon.
We really enjoyed our 4 night stay in this gorgeous little house. Susan made the booking, arrival and departure very easy. The house is well equipped and comfortable. We loved sitting on the patio having our breakfast and listening to the birds. We went on a great whale watching trip from Barnstable and caught the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Also had some good meals in Hyannis (Black Cat Tavern), a Mexican in Falmouth and an Italian close by in Sandwich. Cape Cod is a beautiful area and we would love to return.
This lovely little cottage was our home for 2 weeks, last September. A perfect cozy nook for 2, just a few minutes from Sandwich, Barnstable and Hyannis. From this spot we visit all of Cape Cod, picnicking on the beaches, visits the towns and markets, before stopping at a great grocery store in Barnstable to pick up a dinner to be prepared ont he BBQ and enjoyed on the terrasse. Susan, our host, was welcoming and caring, steering us to the best sites. We highly recommend this cottage.

A fairy tale cottage. Exactly my style and I loved it from the moment I stepped in . The host is extremely nice and accommodating. It is furnished in a perfect style for the Cape. Charming...absolutely charming. All the amenities you could possibly ask for including bikes and beach towels and the best pillow I have every had. Tracking it down as we speak :>) Adorable little patio which I used for coffee every morning. The privacy is unusual at the Cape and I just adored this place. Absolutely will come back someday. A sanctuary for those of us who want our time in a quiet place with lovely surroundings. Could not have been a better choice for me.
Our week stay in this delightful cottage offered all the necessities for a wonderful Cape Cod holiday. Susan was an excellent host, the cottage was just as beautiful in person as the photos show, and the location was perfect for exploring all the little towns and beaches on the Cape.
My fiancee and I spent a week recently at this beautiful cottage. Susan made us feel very comfortable right from the beginning. She was always available to help us and answer our questions. The cottage is very clean and has everything you need. The location is perfect if you want to go anywhere in the Cape, in Boston or even to take the ferries to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard. The surroundings of the cottage have everything to make you relax and live the Cape Cod atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this place and think of going back in the future!
