Beautiful cottage on Cape Cod, a wonderful experience, located in an area free from crowds, but with close proximity to all that the Cape and Islands have to offer. Come and relax with a glass of wine as you sit on your patio in your charming cottage. Located less than 5 minutes from Route 6, you are in a central location with easy access to Hyannis and the beautiful towns and beaches of the Mid Cape area, yet also close in either direction to the Outer Cape, the Lower Cape or the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Your cottage getaway is tucked away at the rear of our property lot in West Barnstable, Massachusetts in a lush garden setting. You will be less than a 4 minute drive from Sandy Neck Beach which includes 4,700 acres of beaches, dunes, maritime forests, and marshes filled with many recreational opportunities. Located in a gorgeous and peaceful countrylike setting across from an old blueberry farm, our cottage has been totally and lovingly very recently renovated and redecorated with new appliances and furnishings. The cottage has a large living room/dining room, kitchen area and bathroom on the first floor. Sliding doors lead outside to your private garden patio facing the woods. On the second floor is a very large bedroom with twin beds which can be put together to form a king sized bed, if desired. (bedding for either twin beds or king bed will be provided.)

(Our friends from St. Remy de Provence, France loved our beautiful and special cottage when they visited us for three and a half weeks last summer. They made numerous day trips to various locations around New England during their stay with us and are looking forward to a return trip soon!) A book of suggestions for local excursions, attractions and restaurants is available for your use to help make your stay a magical one!

Perfect cottage for a Cape Cod visit!

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is perfect for a single or couple with a quiet location, tucked at the back of the host's property, in a wooded surrounding. Being right on charming and scenic highway 6A, the location provides easy access to everything there is to do on the Cape. The cottage has complete Cape Cod charm and is perfectly appointed with all the essentials. The staircase up to the very comfortable bedroom is a bit steep and tight, but easy to navigate -- just take your time! :) Susan was a wonderful host with great suggestions for restaurants and things to do. When we return, (...and we WILL return!!!), we will definitely stay at the cottage again!

Lovely little house in a pretty location

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay in this gorgeous little house. Susan made the booking, arrival and departure very easy. The house is well equipped and comfortable. We loved sitting on the patio having our breakfast and listening to the birds. We went on a great whale watching trip from Barnstable and caught the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Also had some good meals in Hyannis (Black Cat Tavern), a Mexican in Falmouth and an Italian close by in Sandwich. Cape Cod is a beautiful area and we would love to return.

A beautiful home away from home

  • 5 of 5

This lovely little cottage was our home for 2 weeks, last September. A perfect cozy nook for 2, just a few minutes from Sandwich, Barnstable and Hyannis. From this spot we visit all of Cape Cod, picnicking on the beaches, visits the towns and markets, before stopping at a great grocery store in Barnstable to pick up a dinner to be prepared ont he BBQ and enjoyed on the terrasse. Susan, our host, was welcoming and caring, steering us to the best sites. We highly recommend this cottage.

So Charming You fall in Love Immediately

  • 5 of 5

A fairy tale cottage. Exactly my style and I loved it from the moment I stepped in . The host is extremely nice and accommodating. It is furnished in a perfect style for the Cape. Charming...absolutely charming. All the amenities you could possibly ask for including bikes and beach towels and the best pillow I have every had. Tracking it down as we speak :>) Adorable little patio which I used for coffee every morning. The privacy is unusual at the Cape and I just adored this place. Absolutely will come back someday. A sanctuary for those of us who want our time in a quiet place with lovely surroundings. Could not have been a better choice for me.

Our week stay in this delightful cottage offered all the necessities for a wonderful Cape Cod holiday. Susan was an excellent host, the cottage was just as beautiful in person as the photos show, and the location was perfect for exploring all the little towns and beaches on the Cape.
