Far more comfortable than renting two hotel rooms and located in the very desirable south end of Amelia island.

When your family is ready to plan an extremely special location. The beach on the south end of Amelia island is wide, uncrowded and is dotted with dunes and sea oats.

There is cable TV in all bedrooms and free high-speed wireless internet.

Activities and attractions: only 30 minutes from Jacksonville airport, Amelia island has miles of hiking and walking trails through the inland oaks. Oceanfront horseback riding is very popular. There are many great golf courses very close by, including one near the Ritz Carlton, just a five minute walk away, and others on Amelia island.

Beautiful location

We loved this unit! It had breathtaking views to the beach and very easy access for our young family. We hope to rent again during the same time next year.

Beautiful location

Although this unit needs a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint, and remove that carpe, and some TLC. It is the perfection location, with great views of the beach. The beach is very secluded, clean and dog friendly. This is a great development too, beautiful tree lined streets, great place to walk, people are friendly and it is well maintained. The area does have some good restaurants to eat at, Barzin is great!

We did lose our deposit, we broke a leg of the dining room table the morning we were checking out. Although I suspect the table needed to be replaced as one of the dining room chairs had a leg reinforced back on with a nail, and the wood seemed weathered and brittled. As I said the unit needs work as others have said before me.

OK - beautiful beach but the place needs some cleaning and updating

This was our family's first trip to Amelia Island. It's beautiful and we greatly enjoyed the beach. Our unit was decent and could have been much better with some small investments. A deep cleaning is necessary - including a cleaning of the furniture in the living room. The mattress in the master definitely needs to be replaced. The closet in the hallway with beach equipment was a complete mess and the chairs for the beach are not usable due to the bottoms being rusted out. We did not receive our check in information until the day before and it was only sent at that time because I called. We also had an issue with the wrong unit number on our lease agreement which ended up causing some confusion. It ended up working out, but the small details make a difference.

Owner's Response: I would like to address the condition of the condo. We agree a deep clean is needed and is anticipated here in the next week. Please note that this condo is a victim of its own success. It has been virtually at hundred percent occupancy since Christmas with long-term guests during the month of January and February. This combined with spring break and the Concours D Elegance in March has precluded any opportunity to rectify some of the issues. Typically, we will replace items and take care of the necessary work to take care of normal wear in the spring. This is planned to take place in the next 14 days. As regards confusion on the unit the communication issue, responsibility is also with the guest. We were fully aware that the units were change because the initial lease was never returned in a timely fashion. Therefore we switched her to another unit in the same complex. As regards the check-in instructions, they were issued several days prior to arrival. To any future guests who read this review, if you have not received check instructions within 3 days of your arrival please call management or email management because clearly a problem has occurred in the transmission. Thank you

Great Location with a wonderful view

The property was in a great location. The view of the ocean was breathtaking and the entire outside property was very nice. The weather was not as expected the first couple of days of our week but changed later and our stay was wonderful. The interior of our unit was in good shape but the furniture in the living room could use some attention. Overall our stay was great.

Great Condo for a Reasonable Price!

We rented this condo for a week long girls getaway in May. The condo is exactly as portrayed in the pictures. We had everything we needed. I had all the info I needed well before our travel date. I received response for any questions I had and our security deposit was returned promptly. We loved watching the sunrise from the balcony. Every afternoon around four, we went out on the boardwalk and watched the turtles in the dunes. It is an easy drive into the historic area or over to the shops at the Omni Resort. We would rent this condo again in a heartbeat!

Not impressed with this property

Great View! This unit needs a lot of work to please even the person with minimal needs. The carpet was extremely dirty and soiled, the smoke detector broke, the balcony furniture was in shambles, Also, the blinds were missing many of the slats and were impossible to closes or work. This unit is for sale and the owner should never allow these issues. Being there only for 3 days we felt no need to call management since the problems do not occur suddenly and we just lived with the issues. Also, the management is very difficult to communicate with prior to our arrival. We were sent the info on how to get into the complex and unit enroute to the property .Would have been nice to have received an e-mail prior to our arrival.

Owner's Response: Let me explain the circumstances . The property was occupied by snowbirds for the month of Jan and Feb. The guests had a great stay and likely will be return next year ..I reluctantly rented the property since we had no time to review and respond to any issues after a long term rental ,(the long term guest departed on Fri 2/28 and the new guest arrived on Mon 3/3) These guests needed a pet friendly unit last min in a market with limited availability particularly for pet friendly residences They rented a 2BR Oceanfront for 150/night NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED These guests made the choice not to communicate any problems . MGR and the housekeeping coordinator are available at the office and by cell phone . It is beyond me that people would drive a considerable distance to a resort location without check in info and not call prior to there departure . They were emailed check in instructions before there arrival day ,likely did not check there email and called in route This will not happen again. If guests are not willing to provide an opportunity to rectify a problem ,a legitimate complaint simply becomes whining Hundreds of guests have enjoyed the condo and will continue to enjoy it
