My family of my wife, mother - inlaw and self had a great time . Weather was great, 60's - 80's it really helped Kathy my wife and I to heal with the warmer weather . The two girls had a great time shopping, a thing girls do . The condo was clean, modern, and the view was perfect . There was a quick response by iTrip to fix the wireless phones when they were down, Brandion did a get job to fix said problem . Thank you Liz and iTrip team .
Rental process and ITrip were super! We love the location of ocean sands in Madeira beach and we rented this condo because of the larger patio, since grandchildren would visit and we wanted the extra space. Sunsets were spectacular! But, this unit had its flaws. Master bedroom mattress is terrible (as was reported last year by other renters), so don't expect to sleep! Chaises and patio beach chairs are old and need replacing. Dishwasher does not clean dishes, unless you hand wash beforehand (waste of our vacation time). Refrigerator water filter broke and toilet broke but was repaired by ITrip in a timely fashion. Finally, air conditioner worked when it felt like working. Unless these items are corrected, I would highly recommend you avoid this unit.
My husband and I came for two weeks at the beginning of November and the weather was very humid, hot and sunny for the first week and it was difficult to keep cool. The balcony was very exposed and the parasol over the dining table did not tilt so there was very little shade, also one of the sunbeds was falling apart. The blinds in the lounge did not tilt properly either and the fan in the lounge was not working, making the lounge very hot. Otherwise we had a great time and the condo was exactly as described. Everything else worked perfectly, it was much quieter than we expected considering it is on a main junction and the pool area was great, immaculately maintained.
We stayed at this condo for our vacation in September. We loved everything about it! The condo is beautiful, spacious, and right on the beach. The condo is on the third floor and has an amazing, large, private deck that faces the beach. We saw Dolphins almost every morning. The deck has a nice outdoor dining table and sitting area, great for dining in or just relaxing with a book. It was very quiet, we rarely heard neighbors, and the beach was literally steps from the building. The complex is large, but never felt crowded or loud. There is a public beach just down the road, so the beach in front of the condo was private and quiet. Location is convenient to stores, and John's Pass is a neat place to check out and is just a few miles down the road. Condo was clean, nicely furnished. First time staying in Madeira Beach, would definitely stay here again! Loved it.
Recently we traveled with our small child and 2 other adults and stayed at 306 Ocean Sands on Madiera Beach. The condo was immaculate, updated and very quiet. Convenient to go across to the bar or 7-Eleven. It was a little to far to walk in the heat to John's Pass but only(3 miles roundtrip). The location was perfect and a short distance to the other beaches. The view from the unit was breathtaking and the sounds of the waves hitting at night was great! We had a few minor maintenance issues and called the office within the hour the maintenance guy was there to fix the minor problems. The only complaint I have is the unit above us kept ashing their cigarettes and it would drop on our balcony table. Wish it was completely smoke free. The security guy even left a note on our car to let us know we dropped $15 when getting out of the car. I was so taken back we told him to keep it for his honesty. It was also perfect that our toddler can go in an out and we didn't have to worry about gates etc. I would highly recommend this unit as they were responsive, accommodating and the unit itself was immaculate and beautiful. We hope we can rent this unit everytime we return to Florida.
We stayed at the Ocean Sands condo unit 306 for 2 weeks, it was a beautiful unit, had a bit of attention to detail put into this condo, I would have rated this a 5 star condo. Pros would be that the check in was super easy as we arrived at midnight, and just needed a code to punch in in order to open the unit, no keys necessary. Unit was HUGE, much larger than we expected, walk in closet was huge, balcony was enormous, rooms were a great size. Kitchen is amazing, decor was very tasteful, and had plenty of towels, washer and dryer was my favorite part of this condo, very handy. We were on the 3rd floor which was perfect, facing the beach, just perfect. We had covered parking which was amazing, and the location is great, this was our 3rd visit to Madeira.
The cons would be, that the cleaning crew missed a few important things; coffeepot was not cleaned, we went out and bought a new one, ice machine on fridge was filthy, and the dusting was ok to say the least. Stupid things like there was a plant/bamboo decoration thingie on the dining room table, for example that was full of dust and had floating moldy water. It was not a big deal, but when we pay for a stunning condo like this, these are things that should not be missed. Beach equipment was the worst we've had on our trips down here, and we have rented less fancy condos. There were only 2 beach chairs and one was broken, and there were 2 raggedy looking umbrellas. Also. little things like Saran wrap, aluminum foil, kitchen stuff was missing, cups were old and had permanent scratches on bottom, looked like stained milk. Mattress in the master bedroom should be replaced, I reported most of these issues to the person we booked with through itrip and no one ever got back to me. I would definitely stay at this condo again though.
