It is a lovely, comfy, and cozy home.
As an older person with a depth perception annoyance, that first step down from the porch took time but it was doable. The yard had snow covering it but it looked like a great place to play and relax in. The house was wonderful and so clean. I miss my morning rainbows.
Second stay as wonderful as the first.
Once again, everything worked out so well for us and our small children. Such a great place to stay all year round...excellent location to many different activities. Can't wait to come back!
Great place within walking distance to downtown.
Sweet blue house in Duluth
Nice clean, sweet property in great proximity to downtown.
a snug warm house
My husband and I are Texans. We stayed at the little house on 7th street during the coldest winter in 25 years and it was perfect! We stayed warm and snug the entire time. The house is clean and neat and perfect for a small family. Our grandchildren greatly enjoyed the games and all enjoyed the house. We hope to return next summer and enjoy the grounds as well. Thank you Dave for one of our best Christmas's ever!!!
Great location! Great space! Great hosts!
My family and I just spent 5 days in Duluth (love it here)! This was our first time staying at 7th and 7th. With a five year old and 1 year old twins, this house worked out really well for us. I was a little nervous about the stairs, but there are two doors (one in the living room and one in the kitchen) that make it so you can completely block off the stairs...so nice!! The bedrooms are very spacious, and we were able to set up two pack n plays in one room, which was very handy.
There is an on site washer and dryer, which came in handy for sure. Most everything you need for cooking and dining they have for you! Tons of movies for all ages and an amazing CD collection for you to enjoy. They have extra chairs (super nice folding chairs!!) for seating around the dining room table (which has extra leaves if you need more space). They have a booster seat with buckle as well, so we only needed one of our booster seats. There is also an enclosed front porch that works for a great space for your coolers, extra shoes/boots, etc.
The location is fantastic...if you are boat lovers like we are, we were able to see that a freighter was coming in in the next 30 minutes and have plenty of time to get everyone ready and get to Canal Park with plenty of time to spare to see the boat come in. Plus it is close to many other amenities...shopping, dining, hiking, beaches, etc.
Overall, I would highly recommend this home for your next stay in Duluth.
*Only reason I didn't give it five stars, is because there isn't WiFi, which would have been helpful, but not needed I know. (If I could have figured out how to give a 1/2 star I would have and made it 4.5!)
