Christmas Valley Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 10+)

Stargaze from the giant redwood deck or unwind in the luxury hot tub.

Hike, snowshoe or cross country ski directly from the cabin to a spectacular meadow with stunning mountain views.

So secluded and quiet, yet only 10 minutes from town, 15 minutes to Sierra at Tahoe, 20 minutes to Heavenly and 25 minutes to Kirkwood. Perfect for a family or group getaway. This mountain retreat features a gourmet's kitchen and furnishings designed for social gatherings.

In the summer, grab your fishing pole and swim trunks and walk on down to the boulder-lined fishing hole right on the Upper Truckee River.

Take a short hike along the river and discover beaver dams and a breathtaking meadow with mountain views. Bike to Mr. Toads or Hope Valley straight from the driveway of this wonderful retreat.

Four spacious bedrooms to accommodate any guest configuration:

1) Tahoe Timber Room downstairs has one King Log Bed.

2) Snowflake Room downstairs has one Queen Bed.

3) Kids Adventure Room upstairs has two Double Beds, a foosball table, kids games and comfy reading and cuddling furniture.

4) Riverview Balcony Room upstairs has one King Bed, electric fireplace, convertible sofa.

Large deck at front of cabin (26' x 20') is enclosed with gate access to outdoors to keep pets and little ones contained.

Property is relatively flat with only one step up from the driveway to front entry. This provides easy access for those with limited mobility - both downstairs bedrooms and all amenities can be accessed from ground level.

Cabin is located near the end of a quiet dead end street that is relatively flat and ideal for walks and easy bike rides.

The cabin is in an amazing location. Close to everything but secluded and very private.

The creek is such a bonus, we all enjoyed it, specially my two dogs!

...and the hot tub....awwwwwwwwww the hot tub!

Just jump in the SPA in the evening and enjoy that deep silence that makes everything feel magical, look up and get lost in the starry sky.

Linda is great to deal with. All the instructions to get to the cabin and get in where extremely clear.

What we really like is the fact that every door and drawer in the kitchen has a label to help figure out easy where you can find things.

Same thing for all the light switches.

Outdoor patio has a niche seating set with 2 chaise long and the gas BBQ. You can't beat that.

The house was extremely clean and everything was just like described in the listing.

I will definitely go back!

One more thing, I have 2 big Bernese Mountain Dogs and they are my family and there will be no "vacation" without them, renting a house knowing that they are welcome is very important for me.

Thank you Linda!

Wonderful time

Our family had a great time at the property. It was convenient for us to get to and when there, was plenty of room for 2 families and a grandma. The stream in the back is so peaceful. Thanks for a nice time.

Excellent location and large comfortable house!

This was our 2nd stay here (6 adults + 4 kids). As before, everything was clean. The river in the backyard again was the highlight. Hot tub worked great. Nice, quiet neighborhood. We will be back!

Linda's house was very clean & comfortable with all the amenities needed. We loved the setting on the river, the quiet neighborhood, and the large comfortable rooms. Everything was clean and well kept, and the hot tub was awesome! We would definitely stay here again.
