Second & third bedrooms with queen beds in each also on second floor, with private bathroom. Lower level has great room, 4th bathroom, ping pong, darts and walk out to yard. Barter's Island is 4 miles around. Great trail hiking (Boothbay Regional Land Trust). Botanical Gardens for state of Maine. Kayaking. Lobster. Last remaining hand operated swing bridge in Maine.

Aprox. 5 miles from downtown harbor shops, restaurants, sailing. Great trail hiking on island. Barter's Island connected to land by only hand cranked swing bridge in Maine. Once you watch the attendant crank the bridge to allow boats to pass you will understand why they say 'Maine. The way life should be.' Botanical Gardens for the state of Maine located on this island. We have lobster traps directly in front of house.
Area attractions include mini golf, golf, kayaking, sailing, boating, whale watching. The incredible Monhegan Island (population 75 !) is a short ferry trip away. Boothbay Harbor Region is great central location to explore the famous rocky mid-coast of Maine. Aprox 1 hr to Camden, Rockland (Farnsworth Museum, Primo Restaurant), Portland + Outlet shopping in Freeport, Pemaquid Lighthouse + others.
Boothbay Harbor is a lovely, authentic working harbor. Seafood dining-especially lobster- is the specialty. Average summer temps 78 degrees. Events include Fisherman's Festival in April, Windjammer Days in June, weekly arts fairs, 4th of July BBQ on the common. Restaurant after restaurant offer perfect sunsets with boats passing by.
