Charming beach cottage above the ocean. The property manager was readily reachable when needed. The view is amazing— we watched dolphins at play every morning with our coffee. We would stay here again.
Very well equipped!
Easy check reservation and check in. Very clean, well equipped, and just as advertised. Plenty of towels and TP, which other VRBO properties skinp on. Love the Kureg coffee pot. The view is breathtaking. The beds are very comfortable, the TV works great, peaceful, and easy walk to beach and Main Street.
We had a clogged shower drain and the Property Manager handled it immediately and didn’t disrupt our vacation at all. Super impressive.
The place is literally my favorite place now. Mornings on the porch over looking the ocean were totally therapeutic!
Unlike other reviews I read, we had no trouble at all with ants or any other pest.
It was the perfect beach cottage.
To be clear, I don’t usually write reviews. I don’t know the owners or Managers. This is a true independent review. I went to college at UCSD 30 years ago. We were back to the area for my son to tour UCSD, and a walk down memory lane for me. So, I’m familiar with the area and what Beach cottages can be. This property was perfect for all of us.
I look forward to coming back one day soon.
The photos make it appear as if there are 3 bedrooms in the main house, there are not. One of the photos shows a bedroom with two double beds - that is an old photo. This gave us a bad first impression of the rental and we felt scammed.
As the week wore on we got over the photo issue and we really enjoyed the house and the location.
the ocean breeze
The beds are really comfortable and some of the best we have found renting vacation homes.
Plenty of towels
Great little rental. 2 BR in the main house and 1 in the small house.
You won't sleep in - nothing to really block the light in the morning.
No pantry for food.
Not a luxury rental - (more utilitarian with an awesome view and ocean breeze. )
Dryer stopped working and I spent 30 minutes removing lint from the dryer vent in order to get the dryer operable. The dryer vent line needs to be cleaned.
Shower backed up - but it drained eventually.
Neither issue was reported so I don't hold the PM responsible.
Overall great rental and you will enjoy the location. We would rent it again - no questions asked.
Awesome views of the beach - house opens up to enjoy views and sounds of the ocean.
Amazing View & Location
This home is everything we had hoped and more. The deck has an amazing view. We spent every evening watching the sunset. The house has everything you will want and need. The furnishings are nice and the yard is beautiful - and very functional for our dogs. The location is perfect. It's about 3 blocks from the main street with everything you will want - coffee, restaurants, breweries, shopping, moonlight beach, etc. We are already planning our trip for next year.
Great location and views
Classic Encinitas Experience, thank you
