As always, Mountain Resort Properties was wonderful, friendly and responsive. The house is very nice and in a great location for getting to Mavericks, the north store, as well as accessing the National Forest land toward Benham Falls. If there were anything I would wish for it would be Kleenex-type tissues and a slightly better stocked pantry- basics like cooking oil, spice rack were missing. Thanks!
We enjoyed our stay at 2 Big Sky over the 4th of July weekend. We have stayed at several VRBO homes and found this one to be the cleanest one we've stayed in! Kitchen was set up well with pots & pans, utensils, etc., for cooking. We ate most of our meals there. Overall, we found this home to be very accommodating for our family and would recommend this home!
There is a ton of things to do in Sun River/Bend. Our group golfed, floated the river, mountain biked, played tennis, shopped, etc. In our group the youngest was 18 so we didn't really use the Shark, but looked like a great place for people with smaller children.
We were in Sun River for my daughter's wedding. The house was nicely equipped, comfortable and has it's own character - love the bunny theme.
We rented this house with a total of 4 adults and 4 children for 4nights. There was plenty of room. The kitchen is huge and has every gadget one needs for cooking. It has a huge deck with two tables, so plenty of room for outside seating. One pleasant surprise we didn't see on the website is, there are a few bikes and a double Burley trailer for hauling little ones around. There are a few small toys, but recommend bringing your own if you have kids. There is also a high chair.
The room with the bunk beds is through one of the bedrooms. The master has a big walk in closet and also built ins in the bedroom, so there is plenty of room for clothes/storage.
The house is located very close to the trailhead to Benham falls and the lava beds. It is also near the golf course and a short ride to the river.
My only main complaint is the master bed was very firm. Also remember to bring your mesquite repellent. They were excessive when we were there (mid-July)
