Free beach access to enjoy the soft white sandy beaches and turquoise waters of Bavaro beach, Flor del Mar is centrally located. A short walk in either direction along the beach will give you access to a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops. Walking along the street, you will find many amenities such as a variety of restaurants, ATM’s, bakery, grocery stores, drug stores, liquor stores, etc. A five minute cab ride will take you to the luxury Palma Real Shopping Center featuring the Hard Rock Café, movie theatres with movies showing in original version so mainly English and a large selection of high end shops and boutiques and Super Lama, a big supermarket. A ten minute cab ride will take you to the newly built San Juan shopping center with another large supermarket Super Pola, Ikea, Chef Pepper, and a variety of other businesses. A variety of world class golf courses are also a short cab ride away. An English speaking transfer service is available upon request.

Non smoking property, smoking is allowed on the terraces.

PAYMENT TERMS:

• 50% deposit required to confirm booking

• 100% required 30 days prior to arrival.

TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM AIRPORT:

• If you need transportation to your rental property, we can send a trusted driver with a van to pick you up.

• The rate is US $35 one way for 4 passengers. There is room for up to 6 passengers with suitcases per taxi. US$5 extra per passenger.

• You pay the driver directly and keep his number for future transportation needs during your stay.

ELECTRICITY IS EXTRA AND BASED ON CONSUMPTION:

• The Dominican Republic is a developing country and it has it's challenges in regards to cost effective electricity distribution. Therefore, to encourage renters to conserve electricity during their stay, they will be responsible for electricity charges during their stay.

• We collect an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT IN CASH UPON ARRIVAL. It is just a DEPOSIT, real consumption calculated at the end of your stay and deducted from the CASH DEPOSIT PAID UPON ARRIVAL. See deposit requirements below.

• Normal consumption is $5-10 per day for a 1 & 2 bedroom, $10-$15 per day for a 3 & 4 bedroom and $25-$30 for Villas in Cocotal Golf.

RENTALS LESS THAN 30 DAYS: We require an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT (CASH ONLY-UPON ARRIVAL) of US$20 PER NIGHT for 1 & 2 BDR's CONDOS, US$30 PER NIGHT for 3 & 4 BDR's CONDOS and US$50 PER NIGHT for VILLAS in COCOTAL GOLF.

The electricity meter will be read at check-in and check out. The meter can be self monitored daily. You will be charged at the current rate and deducted from the cash deposit.

Cons: Smelled bad like cigar smoke when we arrived. Wasn't cleaned as well as I would prefer. Some of the windows don't have any coverings to block the sun and it heated up the condo like an oven. Electricity is expensive so you use it sparingly, so window coverings would help tremendously. Pros: The beach was phenomenal!!! Private and never crowded. We had beach chairs and an umbrella every day. Someone was always there to drag our chairs over for us. (Worth tipping the guy) He sweeps the beach and grounds every day keeping it nice for the guests. The staff at Go Punta Real Estate were a dream to work with. Very friendly and helpful.

The property is as described. The photos don't do the balcony and roof top terrace justice! The living areas are comfortable and functional, the bathrooms are nice, and the beds are comfortable. Access to the beach is a breeze, the greater Los Corales area is safe and even with limited Spanish we felt comfortable there once we got acquainted with the area. Other reviews have mentioned loud music and I must comment - my boyfriend and I were vacationing during DR's Labor Day (they had Monday off) so the loud reggaeton club music played into the wee hours of the morning on Sunday night. However, the next few nights, the music level was much more tolerable and honestly, we were on vacation and didn't really mind as it was just us two (no children or anyone else to disturb) and once the bedroom door was closed the volume was more tolerable. We ran air conditioning in the evenings after dinner and only in our bedroom while we slept at night and got most of our electricity deposit back, but we were diligent!! I would absolutely recommend this property to friends and hope to return with another couple in the future! The property managers were professional, responsive, and extremely helpful!

This was am excellent condo looks like the pictures. A walk to the beach. Everybody was helpful in the staff. Download google translator and whatsapp. WiFi is descent but could be better. Overall I would recommend this location.

we stayed at Flor del Mar for 6 weeks. The condo location is perfect, right on the beach with restaurants and grocery stores at a walking distance. The condo is vert clean, comfortable and very well equiped. The service from Go Punta Cana Real Estate is exeptional. On a sunday night, as I was cooking on the BBQ, it ran out of propane. I sent an e-mail to the office and within minutes, one of their staff came to the condo to replace the propane tank. One small negative note is that the bar next door to the condo plays very loud music every saturday and sunday until midnight.

We felt like Rock Stars!

Our family of four - including 19 & 16-year-old daughters - spent the week before Christmas at this fabulous condo. Prior to our visit we wondered if the place could really be as beautiful as the photos depict online and it totally was! The view was breathtaking every time we walked into the dining/living area and looked out the sliding glass doors to the beautiful Atlantic ocean (which we swam in daily). The condo was very spacious and we were more than comfortable. Don't let the electricity be an issue for you. We used the a/c at night only and left our "Christmas tree" lit up 24/7 and still got more than half of our electricity deposit back at the end of the week. Carla (at Go Punta Cana) was so sweet and easy to work with. We had absolutely no troubles with the condo at all. The deck and the rooftop terrace were where we spent our afternoons and evenings and were even great places for laying in the sun. The Los Corales neighborhood was great too. We felt perfectly safe walking from our condo to the local Plazas Turquesa or El Dorado anytime to get fresh fruit and also enjoyed many meals there for breakfast, lunch and especially dinner. The food was phenomenal at each locale. It was also very convenient to have the Bamboo Bar right next door to the condo. Dan was always great to help us with drinks or pretty much anything we needed. The private beach was never crowded (unlike the all inclusives just a half mile down the beach) and vendors didn't bother us at all (and they were very courteous and helpful if we did happen to need something - from excursions to fresh-out-of-the-water fish, shrimp & lobster). We also really loved D'Angelos Italian restaurant, just a 1-minute stroll from the condo. Their food was great, priced reasonably and not super slow. (Island time - just get used to it!)

The only inconvenience was in trying to get cash or pesos. The nearest ATM or bank was a 3-5 minute taxi ride at the Plaza Palma Real. Also there was the Super Lama grocery store (which had anything you could want to stock the condo from food to liquor to household items at very reasonable prices) and many high-end stores.

Dominican Republic, Punta Cana and the Bavaro Beach area was a friendly, beautiful area to which we definitely want to return. My 19-year-old daughter summed it up the first morning we awoke to beauty of it all - "This place is awesome! I feel like a Rock Star!" We would absolutely stay at this condo again (wish we never had to leave!)

We are a family of 5 (4 adults and 1 teenager). The condo was spacious enough that no one felt crowded. Condo and view are exactly as pictured. Everything in the unit worked as it should. Rental company and their representatives are the nicest and most accommodating people.
