24/7 Security. Swimming pool at a 2 minute walk from the penthouse. Spa and Gym at a short stroll. Free beach access to enjoy the soft white sandy beaches and turquoise waters of Bavaro beach. A short walk in either direction along the beach will give you access to a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops. Walking along the street, you will find many amenities such as a variety of restaurants, ATM’s, bakery, grocery stores, drug stores, liquor stores, etc. A five minute cab ride will take you to the luxury Palma Real Shopping Center featuring the Hard Rock Café, movie theatres with movies showing in original version so mainly English and a large selection of high end shops and boutiques and Super Lama, a big supermarket. A ten minute cab ride will take you to the newly built San Juan shopping center with another large supermarket Super Pola, Ikea, Chef Pepper, and a variety of other businesses. A variety of world class golf courses are also a short cab ride away.

Non smoking property, smoking is allowed on the terraces.

PAYMENT TERMS:

• 50% deposit required to confirm booking - Air 100%

• 100% required 30 days prior to arrival.

• Payment with Credit Card - Visa, MasterCard, Discover - through our secure website.

TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM AIRPORT:

• If you need transportation to your rental property, we can send a trusted driver with a van to pick you up.

• The rate is US $35 one way for 4 passengers. There is room for up to 6 passengers with suitcases per taxi. US$5 extra per passenger.

• You pay the driver directly and keep his number for future transportation needs during your stay.

ELECTRICITY IS EXTRA AND BASED ON CONSUMPTION:

• The Dominican Republic is a developing country and it has it's challenges in regards to cost effective electricity distribution. Therefore, to encourage renters to conserve electricity during their stay, they will be responsible for electricity charges during their stay.

• We collect an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT IN CASH UPON ARRIVAL. It is just a DEPOSIT, real consumption calculated at the end of your stay and deducted from the CASH DEPOSIT PAID UPON ARRIVAL. See deposit requirements below.

• Normal consumption is $5-10 per day for a 1 & 2 bedroom, $10-$15 per day for a 3 & 4 bedroom and $25-$30 for Villas in Cocotal Golf.

RENTALS LESS THAN 30 DAYS: We require an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT (CASH ONLY-UPON ARRIVAL) of US$20 PER NIGHT for 1 & 2 BDR's CONDOS, US$30 PER NIGHT for 3 & 4 BDR's CONDOS and US$50 PER NIGHT for VILLAS in COCOTAL GOLF.

The electricity meter will be read at check-in and check out. The meter can be self monitored daily. You will be charged at the current rate and deducted from the cash deposit.

Hard to believe, but the pictures showing the unit and views from the deck are exactly as they are in person. You cannot get any closer to the beach, because you are on the beach! From the top deck, you are in the 2nd tallest building in the neighborhood. To clarify - the condo is gated and has a guard from dusk to dawn. In addition, the neighborhood that the condo is located in is also gated and is attended by guards 24/7. Most of the restaurants are outside of the second gate. We ate out every night and were never bothered or felt threatened by anyone. Mackenzie and Bernardo (the hardest working guy on the beach) were always available at the beach to answer questions or run a little interference with folks trying to sell you boat rides, etc. Understand, the beach is public, but there was always lots of room - not at all congested like some of the all inclusives. On a daily basis we saw the fish seller, fruit seller and ice cream man. One thing to understand, these people make their living by selling to tourists. If you are not interested, simply smile and say no thank you. Most were respectful of this request. The Realestate Staff was wonderful! Our transports to and from the airport were pre-arranged and executed flawlessly. Carla checked us in at the condo and answered questions we had and was very responsive to emails we sent while we were there. The condo was quite comfortable and is the on the top floor of the building. There is a small spiral staircase climb required to access the unit. During our stay (first week of January), we left windows and doors open during the day and used the A/C at night. Did a load of laundry each day and our electric bill for the week was $85. Wifi was relatively slow, but fine to send a text or read an article on line. No streaming movies or Facetime (sorry kids). Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a trip to DR and looking to experience a little of the local culture. <b

My husband and I traveled with our adult kids and stayed at Flor Del Mar for 9 days in June 2017. It was fabulous, the location and condo were great. Pics do not do justice. We felt very safe with friendly guards watching day and night. But the biggest reason for our feeling comfortable was Mackenzie. He was waiting every morning to greet us and bring our chairs and whatever else we needed. He booked a couple of excursions for us, hired cabs, and generally waited on us. He was able to provide any information we needed. We became friends and were sad to leave him behind, but are now friends on Facebook so we can stay in touch. Would definitely stay here again, but I do agree that additional window coverings would assist in keeping the condo cool in summer. Also the futons are quite worn and very uncomfortable for sleeping, but beds were great.

We stayed at 402 Flor del Mar March 26th to April 2nd, 2017. Check in was smooth and the staff at Go Punta Cana Real Estate were amazing and very helpful. The condo is extremely well situated and the view is breath taking. The condo could use some upgrades. The glass coffee table on the deck is deadly... both my husband and girlfriend cut their legs on it. Some of the lights didn't work... might just need some new light bulbs. The kitchen is very well equipment but could use a toaster and a stopped for the sink would be nice too. The pink building next door is an eye sore... full of garbage. But all in all I would rent this condo again.

We stayed at flor del mar 402 with the other adults. Out vacation was outstanding from airport pick up, our vacation home to airport drop off. Everything worked in this rental and we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning watching the sun come up. We always felt safe, especially with mackendy watching over us and offering guidance! We will be back next year!

The rental location is perfect. It's right on the beach which is cleaned and taken care of by Bernardo daily. He's also the guy to give you chairs. Never had a problem scoring a chair during the entire stay. Tip the guy a buck or 2 daily!! So many people don't. At arrival we were met by a driver which we coordinated ahead of time with the rental office. I highly recommend stopping at the large grocery store on your way in to stock up on water, paper products, and whatever munchies, food or booze you might want during your stay. The condo is located near many restaurants along with smaller grocery stores. We never felt afraid to walk at night. Several reviewers mentioned a loud disco being downstairs. There's one down the beach which you can hear at night on weekends. It irritated me a bit one night but living in the city I'm used to noise. We only paid $40 in electricity when we checked out. We never had to use the air conditioners at all. The only CON is there is a bad odor in the kitchen near the sink. Another reviewer also reported it. They should really check it out. Since our windows were always wide open it didn't bother us at all. The rental staff are extremely friendly and responsive. My emails were always answered in 24hour or less. I would highly recommend this place. It was paradise!!
