The apartment is beautiful the view is amazing! Thank you for being so accommodating! - i will definitely be back real soon!
Erin was super accommodating and her place was fantastic. The pictures of the view don't do it justice. The building is safe, clean and friendly and the apartment was immaculate. The Urban Market down stairs was super convenient and the access to lots of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. couldn't have been better. I will definitely look to stay here again in the future. Thanks Erin!
First of all, the view is gorgeous. Unobstructed and interesting at any time, day or night. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, just hip enough for the neighborhood, but still utilitarian and comfortable. It seemed to have everything we needed -- except for coffee filters! (We bought about 250, so there should be some there for awhile.) The building seemed very safe, with a door person and codes to get in. We parked our rental car for a few hours downstairs while we unloaded before returning it. Very convenient.
There is a fancy grocery store in the same block and a liquor store several blocks away (good beer and bad wine only in the grocery store). Lots of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood, but not noisy.
We'd never stayed in Brooklyn, but enjoyed it. Lots to explore and subway/bike rental are relatively close by to get into Manhattan. For instance, we used the Citi Bike rental ($12/24 hour day pass) and rode in [mostly] bike lanes to the TKTS booth in Brooklyn to buy 1/2-price tix to Broadway. Line's way shorter than in Times Square. Dropped the bikes there and took the subway into Manhattan, then picked up bikes later in the day in Manhattan.
Great running route over the Williamsburg Bridge or just along the river. Also we did laundry in the building. Very high-tech and efficient and clean.
We stay in a lot of temporary housing -- VRBO, airbnb, VACASA -- and really do rate this one five stars!
We had a wonderful time staying in Erin's home. The location was perfect having so many restaurants, coffee shops and shops in walking distance. It was our first time staying in Brooklyn and it could not have been a more pleasant experience!!!
Was our third stay here and was every bit as great as our previous trips. The area changes so much every time we come and we're always discovering great new restaurants. Still love Donna just next to the apartment for cocktails a few mins from home. Being so close to the east river ferry is still one of the best things about the location of the apartment.
We loved the location and the view!!! We walked everywhere and biked over the Williamsburg bridge and Brooklyn bridge which are both fairly close to the apartment! There are tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance. I would highly recommend this property as it is one of the best we have ever stayed in!!! Thanks for sharing your lovely home!!
This is a fantastic property. Very clean, well appointed, comfortable, great kitchen. It's on the 12th floor of a nice building and the views of Manhattan as well as the three bridges to Brooklyn are absolutely spectacular and totally unimpeded by other buildings. Great grocery two minute walk.
Situated along the waterfront we are conveniently located just one subway stop from Manhattan on either the JMZ or the L subway line. This stretch along the waterfront embodies the spirit of old and new. Once a thriving industrial neighborhood, it has now transformed into one of the cities most sought after communities, and we are perfectly situated to take advantage of it all. Outside your door you will find culture, convenience and some of the best restaurants in the city such as Marlow and sons, diner, isa, peter luggers, dresser, fatty cue and many many more. The area was the home of many breweries as well, and all the local bars feature many of the old beer as well as many delicious craft beers brewed locally. There are several local music venues as well including the music hall of Williamsburg, knitting factory and Brooklyn bowl just to name a few. There are also within walking distance all the smaller local hangouts where you can find live music as well. Our favorite thing to do is walk to one of the local restaurants and visit skinny Dennis a local honky tonk bar on metropolitan and berry st for some good old American country music and rock n roll.
Some of my favorite eateries are Marlow and sons, and diner both located within a 5 minute walk! We are a short walk to Bedford ave the heart of Wiiliamsburg and all the cafes, shops, and restaurants.
