These apartments are part of an ultra modern luxury home, which has been built with every attention to detail, comfort and convenience. There are two non-adjoining studio apartments available for rent: W33A and W33B, priced separately. Each unit suits two persons only, and each has a private entrance, private bath, and exquisite kitchen arrangement. W33A opens directly on to the pool deck level.
Finished in limestone and fine porcelain tiles, handsome furniture, and in an exclusive area of Southampton, these units will attract guests who wish to lounge by a large, freshwater pool and Jacuzzi, while marvelling at water views that are stunning from dawn to night.
When rented together, W33A and W33B would make ideal accommodations for two couples or a family of four with older children, who are looking to vacation in a serene setting. Guests of both units have access to the elegant pool (38' X 18'), the Jacuzzi, and comfortable outdoor seating.
Laundry facilities can be made available to guests staying for 8 nights or more. The residence also features a gym for guest use at no extra charge, providing the equipment is left in good order. It has two treadmills, an elliptical, a bike machine, and a weight machine.
W33A is the poolside studio suite, with a King size bed (which can be made into two Single beds) that has large drawers underneath for convenient storage. There are two sets of French doors from the suite, both of which allow you to step right onto the pool deck and enjoy spectacular views of the Great Sound.
The completely tiled suite has a three-piece bathroom (with shower), and kitchen which is equipped with a stainless steel refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and all utensils necessary to cook a magnificent meal.
Enjoy your delicious meals indoors at the small dining table with two comfortable stools, or at the outdoor dining table which allows you to take in the water views. Both W33A and W33B each have an outdoor dining set, as well as a barbecue. All guests are welcome to enjoy the many lounge seating options on the spacious pool deck.
The suite has air conditioning, ceiling fan, wireless internet, and cable TV. It also has a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and beach towels.
The residence is located in a quiet, residential neighbourhood, close to fine dining in Somerset and in the great hotels and restaurants of the fabled South Shore Coast. From the property one can quickly access a bus stop (for the bus along Middle Road), as well as Rockaway ferry stop – from which the fast ferry that will take you straight into Hamilton Harbour.
For those who enjoy golf, the internationally famed Port Royal Golf Course is nearby, only a 5 minute drive from the residence.
The nearest sandy beach is West Whale Bay, a very small cove strewn with seashells and with a gentle surf, which is about a 10 minute walk from the property. Alternatively, one can catch the bus nearby, and proceed along Middle Road and then South Shore Road to one of the many famed South Shore beaches, the nearest of which to this property is Church Bay or Horseshoe Bay. Horseshoe Bay has beach facilities during the Summer where there are outdoor showers, beach equipment can be rented, and one can buy ice cream. In the winter months, take your own little picnic to be sure of the necessary sustenance when required.
For those who enjoy a walk, the Old Bermuda Railway scenic trails run practically next door. Somerset Village is nearby – a charming hamlet with pretty shops and nice restaurants to enjoy. Beyond the Village is the Naval Dockyard with Bermuda’s maritime history preserved for your edification and located on a headland with the most extraordinary views of the length of the island. Dockyard also features pretty craft shops and artisans at work, excellent books on the island, pottery, and more, as well as a wide array of pubs, cafes and luxurious carriage trade stores to browse through.
There are grocery stores nearby, as well as all the usual facilities for sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, water skiing, fishing, and para-sailing near Somerset Bridge and Ireland Island.
