You and your family are in store for a vacation of a lifetime at this perfect single family getaway. “Fins” oceanfront location has all you could wish for as you are only steps from the wonderful white sand, comfortable Carolina water, and the outstanding private swimming pool at the Mariner’s Walk complex. There are very few if any accommodations on the island that are closer to the beach than “Fins”. Just walk out the sliding glass door to a spacious deck, then a few steps down and you are on your way to paradise.
Ocean views are yours to enjoy from almost every room at “Fins” including the living and dining area as well as the kitchen, master bedroom and guest bedroom.
“Fins” features two levels, which is very unusual and special in a two bedroom villa/condominium. The first level is highlighted by the living and dining area as well as the kitchen. The kitchen is perfect for a small family and features many upgrades including stainless steel appliances and hard surface countertops. The living are is comfortable and features a large LCD television. The dining is set to host six for dinner. The living room also features a queen size sleeper sofa.
The bedrooms at “Fins” are located on the second floor. Each bedroom features a private bath. The master bedroom has a comfortable king bed with ocean views. The guest bedroom has two twin beds. In addition to the private bath, each bedroom features a television.
You do not need to be afraid of this fin at the beach for “Fins’ is the ideal spot for your next family vacation to the Isle of Palms and Wild Dunes.

A true South Carolinian, Marcia is from Greenville SC and has been in the Charleston area for over 25 years! She began hospitality right out of college as the Front Desk night manager at the Waccamaw House in Litchfield, SC. She and her late husband, John, ran Sewee Coastal Methodist Retreat Center in Awendaw, on the Intercoastal waterway while raising their four children. Marcia joined the Beachside Team 2012.
1. Enjoys the peace and moss draped serenity of the walking trails in Palmetto Islands County Park. Palmetto Islands County Park is located in Mt. Pleasant and also offers the areas only water park in addition to miles of walking trails. 843-406-6950.
2. Walking the beach from Breaches’ Inlet to the opposite end of Sullivan’s Island at Charleston Harbor.
3. Sunset cruise on the Palmetto Breeze. The Palmetto Breeze is the ultimate sailing catamaran docked in Shem Creek. They offer dolphin sails, tours of the historic Charleston Harbor and sunset sails. 843-886-8133.
4. Kayaking the salt marshes and back creeks of the Intercoastal waterway . Coastal Expeditions offers tours from Isle of Palms Marina and Shem Creek 843-886-9590.
5. Favorite is BBQ shrimp at Acme Lowcountry Grill! Located on the Isle of Palms, Acme Lowcountry Grill is one of Beachside’s favorite recommendations. 843-886-3474.
