Beautiful, custom built 2900 sq foot home set on 11 private acres in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristos Mountains. The property is in the exclusive Turley Mill Subdivision nestled against National Forest land. 15 minutes from the ski valley and 15 minutes from the town of Taos, this home is the perfect combination of tranquility and accessibility. The sweeping views from the approximately 800 sq foot loft like master bedroom are of both the mountains and the valley. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen has all the amenities you'll need for a lovely dinner around the massive dining table that easily sits 8-10 people. Dish network on the flat screen television and WiFi Internet access complete the modern amenities. The large living room boasts huge vigas that span its width and an inviting fireplace as its focus. A lush courtyard garden leads you to the entrance to the house and the flagstone patio which runs the length of the house and has a wood burning fireplace as well as a BBQ.
I am happy to answer any questions you might have. Please know that we have never rented out our house before so I'll be interested in a personal reference and would like to speak to you in person before we move forward with this rental. Thanks so much!

We had a great stay. The homeowner and her caretaker were extremely helpful. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities you might want. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and private, with the last mile or so of the approach to the house on winding and hilly gravel roads. Taos is a wonderful destination, and the house is convenient both to the town and the ski resort.
We (5 adults) spent 5 days in this lovely property and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful and has everything needed for a nice stay, from a well equipped kitchen to great grounds around the property. It is about midway between the Taos plaza and the ski valley in a secluded hill. An SUV is strongly recommended to get there, especially if there is snow, but the advantage is plenty of outdoor sitting space (including a great outdoor fireplace). Plenty of walking/gentle hiking around and a short drive to more challenging stuff or to the town. The bedrooms are very nice - a huge master bedroom with the largest king+ size bed I've seen. A room with two beds and a third one with a double bed. Views all around are lovely. Can't wait to come back!
The owners were easy to work with and the house lived up to expectations. Convenient to the ski mountain and easy access to restaurants in Taos.
We have traveled all over the world so we've seen many different hotels, homes, campsites, resorts etc.
This home ranks up there with one of our favorites. Our hosts left no stone unturned related to our stay....from the welcoming email and information packet to having everything needed for home away from home feel while there.
Thanks for everything and the best compliment I can say is that we will definitely come back!
Taos is an amazing community set on a high plain at the base of the Sangre de Cristos Mountain range which is the tail end of the Rocky Mountains. Every conceivable out door sport is at your disposal. Bike, hike, white water raft, fish, ski, snow shoe, rock climb or just relax is this beautiful arid setting. Just 40 miles south of Colorado, the Taos Ski Valley has world class skiing and snow boarding which is not to be missed! The Taos Pueblo is one of the most unique and ancient of the pueblos with a rich history and an unbroken legacy of continuous occupation by the native Indians. The unique history of this town ranges from cowboys like Kit Carson, to Spainards who occupied this territory and artist who created Utopian communities in the early 1800's. The strong presence of all of these influences is still felt today. Explore historic homes, extensive galleries, great shopping, amazing cuisine, numerous festivals and an unbelievable physical beauty are in this lovely town.
