Additional comments:

We had a great stay. The homeowner and her caretaker were extremely helpful. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities you might want. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and private, with the last mile or so of the approach to the house on winding and hilly gravel roads. Taos is a wonderful destination, and the house is convenient both to the town and the ski resort.

Taos retreat

  • 5 of 5

Very quiet foothill retreat. Spacious and comfortable, nothing is missing. So, so quiet and the night sky is spectacular!!! Weather was sunny and warm during the day, cool to sleep with windows opened at night. Go if you can.

Beautiful home in an amazing mountain valley setting!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful, picturesque, peaceful, elegant home near Taos Ski Valley. Proximity to Ski Basin and Town make this home the perfect vacation home. We skied daily and enjoyed some amazing restaurants and museums.

The house has every amenity to grill and cook. The outdoor fireplace and the New Mexico night sky was memorable.

We loved our stay and will return!

Wonderful, comfortable, quiet, did I say wonderful

  • 5 of 5

We make a family trip to Taos every year. We only stay here every year, and have change our reservation to ensure we stay here. The house is located in a fabulous area. It is halfway between the ski hill and town. It is so comfortable. Once you arrive back to the house, you don't want to leave. It is beautifully decorated. Kitchen is great to cook in. Master bedroom is fabulous with a 360 degree view. Can't say enough good things about it.

A Dream house in between Taos and the Ski Valley

  • 5 of 5

We (5 adults) spent 5 days in this lovely property and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful and has everything needed for a nice stay, from a well equipped kitchen to great grounds around the property. It is about midway between the Taos plaza and the ski valley in a secluded hill. An SUV is strongly recommended to get there, especially if there is snow, but the advantage is plenty of outdoor sitting space (including a great outdoor fireplace). Plenty of walking/gentle hiking around and a short drive to more challenging stuff or to the town. The bedrooms are very nice - a huge master bedroom with the largest king+ size bed I've seen. A room with two beds and a third one with a double bed. Views all around are lovely. Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic Place, Amazing

  • 5 of 5

We have traveled all over the world so we've seen many different hotels, homes, campsites, resorts etc.

This home ranks up there with one of our favorites. Our hosts left no stone unturned related to our stay....from the welcoming email and information packet to having everything needed for home away from home feel while there.

Thanks for everything and the best compliment I can say is that we will definitely come back!
