4 Bedrooms 3 1/2 Bathrooms, 2 Story Home 3 Minutes To A Beach Path. Pet Friendly

This bright sunny home on Live Oak is facing the sun from early morning throughout the day, and overlooks the large pool & patio with the second green of Atlantic Dunes just yards beyond.

Just an easy walk to the beach, the location is close to beach paths, on the very quiet and beautiful Live Oak Road. This road dead ends at the far end of The Plantation Club's driving range, a central lagoon separates the North side from the South, and is surrounded by the Atlantic Dunes golf course.

The living /dining room, downstairs Master bedroom, and the 3 upstairs bedrooms are all located on this side of the house, facing south & overlooking the pool and golf course.

Each bedroom, plus the 3 separate living areas have TVs and Blue Rays, for a total of 7. And of course wifi.

The entryway is lined with bookshelves on either side, and has an open stairway ahead with a dramatic two story window overlooking the pool, patio, golf course and green beyond.

The living room has 3 walls of windows and doors, sofas and chairs offer comfortable seating, the dining room table seats 8 with ease, this area leads into a spacious kitchen, with patio doors, counter seating, breakfast table & chairs, plus sitting area.

The second stair case leads from kitchen seating area directly up to a second living room where we have a TV, blue ray & card table, with plenty of additional seating.

The large laundry room, set up with washer, two dryers, sink, ironing board & iron is directly off of this room.

The largest bedroom upstairs, with bathroom en suite has a queen size bed, and a comfortable full size sofa/bed, where guests can put their feet up and read or watch their own TV.

The other bedrooms, consist of the Flip Flop room, so named after the bedspread and lamp theme, and has two twin beds. The final bedroom has a queen sized bed and shares a bathroom with the twin bedroom. As well as having the normal air conditioning system in these bedrooms, we added Mitsubishi mini split units as well, thus allowing guests in each room, to individually control their choice of temperature to sleep in.

The large master bedroom located on the ground floor, has a whirlpool tub and separate shower, guests can walk out to the pool through patio doors.

The pool, sun drenched throughout the day, runs the length of the house, with a spacious patio, chaise lounges, umbrella with table and chairs, & Weber gas grill.

A roofed trellis holds a hammock overlooking this scene and the green & fairway beyond.

This home is 550 yards from the beach, offers complete privacy, and an open garden allowing guests to enjoy lots of sun.

We are also pet friendly by arrangement, dogs only, with no size restriction. A fence encompasses the entire pool and terrace which includes a generous grassy area for doggy convenience, allowing your canine family member to join you, without worry. This fence does not compromise the view, but allows freedom for our visiting doggy guests & convenience for their owners.

We have another home, our first, on Live Oak is VRBO, HomeAway umber 239212 and we also have another in Baynard Park 371621. Both are also pet friendly with fenced areas.

We keep a pull wagon for toys and beach equipment in the garage. It is only a 3 minute walk to the end of our quiet cul de sac road and onto the closest beach path.

This property has easy access through the Ocean gate, the Plantation & Beach Club are less than a mile further on.

For those who like to bike ride, we have arrangements with Riding Tigers Bike Rentals to obtain discounted pricing on bike rentals for our guests. Simply call them at 843-686-5833 and ask for the discount. They offer free delivery and pickup also.

Why Gary & Carol Shultis chose Hilton Head

The first house we purchased in Sea Pines is on North Live Oak, we love the location. When we decided to purchase another home, we had the opportunity to buy this one, right across the street on the South side.

We loved the feel of this house the moment we walked through the front doors. The entry with the bookcases and dramatic window behind the main stair case, and the living room with windows and doors on three sides, was so bright and cheerful. Outside the pool welcomed and the golfers were putting on the second green of the Ocean course immediately opposite.

What makes this house unique

We chose this quiet, wide open street named Live Oak Road, because we love a view from our house and lots of sun. We did not wish to be on a beach path where trees shaded many pools, and because of such close proximity to the beach path, often giving little or no privacy as people often pass by.

We decided 3-4 minutes extra walk to the beach, was well worth having a home on this very private No Through Road, that ends at the far end of the driving range at the beautifully renovated Plantation Club.

We own three homes in Sea Pines, each one is very special to us. We have improved and decorated this home, like the others, in a way that we would would live in it full time ourselves. We want our guests to have a wonderful & memorable Sea Pines holiday with our house playing a large & special role in that experience. We like nothing more than to have our guests return on a regular basis, assured they will have a well maintained, clean and comfortable home. And those that like a change in house or location, can just choose from any three, with this assurance. The other 2 are HomeAway 239212 or 371621.

Wonderful Three Weeks

We just got back from our 3rd visit to this home. We have already rented for 2018. We love the location (close to the beach and the Forest Preserve) and layout of this house. Our children and grandchildren come for a long weekend and it fits everyone comfortably. The fenced in backyard is a big plus for our dogs. Carol is so easy to work with. Although we never have had any problems, she always checks in to see if everything is OK. Each year we rent, she has done more improvements to this home. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Our family really enjoyed staying at 11 South Live Oak Road. We have been coming to Hilton Head for over 20 years and this is definitely our favorite place. The home is well maintained. The owners have thought of everything. This beach house is not only large enough for everyone to enjoy being together, but also spacious enough to spread out and have a bit of privacy. Our family enjoyed the beautiful pool and the close proximity to the beach. The fenced in backyard was perfect for both our dog and grandchildren. We would highly recommend this home.

Perfect family home!

We rented this house for a family vacation. Large enough for all.never on top of each other. Large pool and swimming area that 4 grandkids couldn't get enough of. Great location. The very large kitchen was great for family gathering. A separate game room was a plus. It was a perfect choice adults and grandkids alike! Carol ( the owner) is a joy to work with. A very worthy 5 star experience!

Fantastic Vacation Home

This is one of the most beautiful and well maintained homes we have ever stayed in at Sea Pines - or anywhere for that matter! It is so comfortable and equipped with anything you could ever need to enjoy our vacation. The location is great - quick access to the beach and the gate. Lots of space for everyone to spread out or be together in one room. The pool is great with plenty of sun exposure. Carol was fabulous to work with and they are so nice to open up their home to our 4 legged family members because they like to go to the beach, too! We really cannot say enough good things about the house and hope to be back many more times!

The description and photos of 11 South Live Oak will provide you a peek into how great is this vacation home. The home, grounds, and pool are well maintained. A very short walk to the best beach in Sea Pines. Carol was excellent in following up with our questions and preparing us for a great vacation. We would highly recommend this home for families and especially families with pets. The proximity to Sea Pine attractions and the Forest Beach area was a plus. Wonderful Two Weeks

This was our second visit to Carol's home and was just as much fun as the first. We had our family come for a long weekend and there was plenty of room to spread out. Our family had such a terrific time they want us to do it again next year. We plan to do so. The location is so convenient. It's a short walk to the beach. Our furry ones looked forward to their run on the beach each morning. The Forest Preserve is also very close and a great place to take walks. The house is very comfortable and clean. Carol is so easy to work with. There was never a problem but she checked in to see if everything was OK. We look forward to renting this home again.
