Carolina Bliss, 12 Commons Court
Edgar Allen Poe in the Gold Bug wrote "it may well be doubted whether human ingenuity can construct an enigma...which human ingenuity may not, by proper application, resolve". Poe wrote the Gold Bug while stationed at Fort Moultrie on neighboring Sullivan's Island and many believe the Gold Bug Tree is situated right outside of 12 Commons Court on the twelfth hole of the famous Wild Dunes Links Golf Course. During your next vacation at 12 Commons Court, you may contemplate this line from the Gold Bug, but one thing that is not an enigma is that it is easy to have an outstanding vacation at 12 Commons Court.

This was our first visit to Charleston and Isle of Palms - we have vacationed in South Carolina for years, but have never stayed here before. What a perfect experience and relaxing time we had!
The house was perfect for our family and met all our expectations. From the simplicity of the reservation system, through the advance email notices and checking, to arrival and enjoying our time, everything was great.
We would absolutely stay here again!
We loved the house, everything we hoped for and just as advertised. Very open with spacious rooms, beautifully decorated, has everything you need. We rented a golf cart to get around the resort and had a fabulous vacation. We would definitely stay here again!
