The Village at Wild Dunes is at the heart of Wild Dunes Resort. This newly constructed community offers the ultimate in accommodations not only on the Isle of Palms, but all of Charleston. In this wonderful new community, “Eclipse” is located at 522B and offers the best views and finest furnishings of any two bedroom property located in the development. The property owners have gone one better and improved on the concepts that have made The Village At Wild Dunes one of the most successful accommodations in Charleston. Outside of the Penthouse Properties, each accommodation offered in the Village at Wild Dunes features generic hotel style furnishings. Where these are nice and The Village at Wild Dunes has been awarded the AAA Four Diamond Award, the owners of “Eclipse” have improved their home to be unique offering the finest accommodations that are not only beautiful, but comfortable.
Where the upgraded accommodations outshine the generally accepted furnishings in the Village, “Eclipse” rises above all other properties in the Village and Wild Dunes Resort with its tower deck. The tower deck offers a 360 degree view of the Isle of Palms, the Atlantic Ocean, Charleston’s tidal marsh and even Mt. Pleasant. Not only is the view something unlike anything else the outdoor furnishings are gorgeous and comfortable. It is truly like having a living room in the sky. “Eclipse” features include hardwood floors, travertine tile, stainless steel appliance, flat screen televisions, and granite counter tops to name a few of the upgraded amenities that you will find in this spacious condominium.
Each bedroom has a relaxing king bed and a private bathroom. Additional bedding is offered in the living with a pull out sleeper sofa. Another special feature of staying at “Eclipse” is having direct access to many of the best features of the Village at Wild Dunes. Located above the Village Plaza, you have access when staying in The Penthouse to the Village Fitness Center (Daily Fee), Swim Center (Daily Fee), the Sand and Sea Spa, Hudson’s Market (grocery and deli), Lettered Olive (restaurant offering meals throughout the day) and entertainment at the Village amphitheater. Golf is available to you at Wild Dunes as well. You may choose between two Tom Fazio Courses, the Wild Dunes Links Golf Course that finishes along the Atlantic Ocean or the Wild Dunes Harbor Golf Course that winds its way along the Intracoastal Waterway. In addition to the amenities located in the Village, each evening after 6 pm, you also have access to the two oceanfront swimming pools located in the Grand Pavilion. The Grand Pavilion is a long boardwalk that starts just across from the Village and stretches down to the Ocean. In addition to swimming pools, the Grand Pavilion features a gift shop, ice cream parlor, Duney’s Café and a beach bar.
Between the two courses at the Resort, or the four courses across the bridge in Mt. Pleasant, “Eclipse” will provide you the ultimate in accommodations while you enjoy golf, Charleston or the beach in a truly special home.

The Isle of Palms, like all barrier islands, has a dynamic beach near the inlet that separates the island from Dewees Island. The ebb and flow of the changing tides, through the inlet, creates and moves sand bars just off shore. These sandbars will channel waves between them, resulting in the massive buildup of sand along portions of the island where other areas may develop temporary erosional hot spots. These hot spots will feature a sand beach throughout the day outside an hour or so before and after high tide. Where a dry sand beach may be limited in these few areas at high tide, walking either direction will lead to an area where the sandbars have created an expansive beach to enjoy at any tide.

This was our second stay in this gorgeous condo at the Wild Dunes Village and, again, we couldn't be happier with our experience. The location is perfect and the view is absolutely unbeatable. The condo is well-appointed, conveniently located and beautifully decorated. We'll be back and we'll definitely be staying here again.
This was our first trip to Isle of Palms with children. Overall, a wonderful experience from beginning to end. A breeze to check in (thanks Billy), timely response to a maintenance issue, and no-stress checkout. We were very happy with the property and the professionalism of the staff. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the property is definitely first rate. There's plenty to do on the property for the kids (movies, crafts, games, music, etc). The only thing there's a small issue with was the bluray player in the living room. While this might be an odd thing to criticize on a beach vacation, with two young kids who get pretty tired after a day at the beach and pool, it would have been nice to have this working for some down time.
Thanks. We'll be back!
I have been going to Wild Dunes for the past 5 years. This property was the best we experienced in our travels. The location of The Villages was ideal for our young family. We took advantage of the beach, pools, markets and activities every day. The views from the balcony are the best on the island. The property was new, well maintained and had very nice furnishings. My family of 4 would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering Wild Dunes, and we plan to stay here next year as well. This was our second year renting with Beachside Vacations and it was also a pleasure to work with their organization.
We have stayed at Wild Dunes several times, but this property far exceeded the previous condos we visited. The condo was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and so close to everything. We were extremely comfortable and would not hesitate to seek out this same property for our next trip. It is great to look back on a wonderful vacation with NO major issues.
This was the second year for us at this location and it again met all our expectations. We're a family of three and the two bedrooms and two bathrooms were ideal for us. The view from the balcony is great and this year we were able to catch multiple 4th of July fireworks displays while there. The unit is very spacious with a well supplied kitchen, good cable and wi-fi service. The unit is up to date and quite comfortable. It is within the resort and we enjoyed having access to multiple activity options ( tennis, bikes, golf, fitness center, multiple pools, etc.) and it was only a short walk of about 200 yards to the beach. We really liked both the Isles of Palms Marina and The Boathouse for on the water dinning during our stay.
