We had a very relaxing week in your cabin!! Kelly was very helpful with local hikes. We loved hiking to the top of the bluff and looking down at the cabin.
One very clear night, my husband and son saw at least a dozen shooting stars. Something we definitely do not see in the city.
We are so glad we found this! Just what our family needed this year!
Clean and well kept, organized and beautiful. The wood work was fantastic and the cabin layout was nice and simple for us. The level yard up to the pond was great for outdoor activities and there was a nice fire pit all set up with some cut and split fire wood next to it. Everything was Well thought out and really tried to make us feel welcome!
We loved our stay at this peaceful Maine cabin. It was just perfect for our young toddlers. Plenty of outdoor space to run around, roast marshmallows on the fire pit, swim in the lake, play in the sand, and even say good morning to the horses, chickens, and pigs. We couldn't have asked for a perfect place to spend a week away from it all. Being 10 minutes away from town life, we spent most of our time at the Cabin, grilling and swimming. We took 2 day trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park which took about 45 minutes to get too. Worth a trip! We had a few hot Summer nights so remember to bring a Fan since there's no A/C in the cabin.
We had a great time at the cabin. The location is beautiful, and the cabin provided more than enough space for three adults. The cabin contained all the amenities that we needed, and we made excellent use of the fire pit and grill. We were in town for a concert in Bangor, and it took us about 25 minutes to drive there from the property. The cabin is a perfect distance from Bangor; close but not too close! I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit this part of Maine.
The cottage sits in front of a lake and has all the basic necessities. A canoe is provided and we were out on the lake each day we were there. So scenic, quiet and beautiful. Kelly was extremely accommodating and helpful - and very nice. There are must do trails on her property which overlook the entire lake. Acadia is about 45 min. to 1 hour away and a must see - especially Sands Beach in Acadia. Ate lobster at Beal's Pier Restaurant - wonderful. Just an amazing, quiet, beautiful stay.
Our stay at your cottage on the lake was very relaxing and peaceful. The cottage was filled with all our stay needs. Would love to come back when it's warmer so we can swim and enjoy the outside. Thank you for allowing us to visit we hope to come back
Lovely waterfront setting and private cabin. The water was clear and a comfortable temperature for swimming. We also enjoyed the canoe, and building a fire in the firepit by the water. Kelly introduced our kids to her horses and let the kids feed the chickens and pigs, which they loved. Plan your travels ahead of time or on the road because there is no wifi or phone service (for AT&T at least) in about a 10 minute vicinity. Very much enjoyed our stay.
