Wonderfully furnished condo in a great location!! It is located in a gated community on the first floor. You can walk to the Ole Miss campus, and it is 1.5 miles to the historic downtown square.
This condo has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (2 queens and 1 full) that sleeps 6 people. It includes a full kitchen, den, washer and dryer, linens and soaps, flat screen TVs, wireless/cable, patio area and keyless entry.
The condo facility also has a large pool area with hot tub, fitness center with sauna, club room, and tennis court.
If you like shopping, fine dining, SEC sporting events, festivals, historic places, and excellent musical and theatre performances, Oxford is the place to be, and I would love for you to be my guest!
M. G. Wright is the owner of this condo. I have lived in Oxford since 1990. Each member of my family is a graduate of Ole Miss.
M. G. Wright purchased this condo in 2004
I bought this property because of its proximity to the Ole Miss campus. All three of my children lived in it while they were pursuing their law and masters degrees. When my youngest child graduated in 2012, I decided to rent it for short stays. I have really enjoyed meeting my guests from around the country.
The location of the condo is the best benefit. You can walk to the football and baseball stadiums, and ,of course, The Grove. It is also very close to the historic downtown Square. The whole facility is nice because it has a wonderful pool area and a great fitness center. It is a great place just to relax.
Just wanted to say that our group was very pleased with your condo this past weekend! Everything was top notch and as it turned out your unit was just across from my daughters unit where the other half of the group stayed.
It all made for a great weekend. I forgot to sign the guest book but feel free to repost our high recommendations for your unit, great value for a weekend in Oxford!
Spent a football weekend in this lovely condo. The condo was exactly as pictured, quaint and very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for easy access to the campus and the square. Thanks Mary Glynn for the coffee and snack bars.
We stayed at this fabulous condo this past weekend for graduation and everything was perfect. The owner has thought of everything to make our stay most enjoyable. She even left us her baseball tickets to use. She's the best. I highly recommend this condo for anyone coming to Oxford!!!!!
We rented this fabulous condo for a football weekend in October. It exceeded all of our expectations. The condo was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We had guests with us from Arizona and they loved it as well. It is located in a great part of town and we were able to fet to campus and the square very easily. The kit hen was very well equipped and had we chosen to cook it would have been very easy to do so. For people not familiar with Oxford, the owner provided information about the town. We will be returning to this wonderful condo in May for the graduation of our youngest daughter. I would highly recommend this condo to all my friends and the keyless entry made it easy to come and go. Southern hospitality at it's finest!!!!

Oxford is home to Nobel Prize-winning author William Faulkner and esteemed 19th century statesman L.Q.C. Lamar, as well as the University of Mississippi. Oxford is a culturally rich town with a vibrant downtown that revolves around the Oxford Courthouse Square Historic District. Throughout the town, you will find historic buildings, an internationally recognized bookstore, distinctive museums, a great variety of restaurants, and tempting shopping options.
Visitors appreciate Oxford for its sophisticated shops, excellent restaurants, SEC sporting events and Broadway caliber musical performances at the Ford Center. The year begins with the Oxford Film Festival in February, March brings the Oxford Conference for the Book followed in April with the Double Decker Arts Festival. Of course, SEC baseball season is also in the Spring. In June is the Yoknapatawpha Summer Writers' Workshop and the LOU Summer Sunset Series. The Annual Faulkner and Yoknapatawpha Conference is in July with football season beginning soon after in August.
In addition to these events, visitors and residents alike participate year round in the University of Mississippi's Artist Series, Lecture Series and Brown Bag Luncheons. Another popular event is the Thacker Mountain Radio Show held weekly during its season at Off Square Books.
