Your hosts, Carl & Patty Goveia, built this cabin new in 2005. It was designed and furnished only for our family use until 2012 when we began renting the cabin to others. With 2 kids heading to college it became a necessary endeavor! We still visit the cabin several times a year but enjoy sharing this special place with others. We were honored when our cabin was featured in Country's Best Log Homes magazine in May, 2007.

We fell in love with the area. The White Mountains are breathtaking. The locals are very accommodating and friendly. Its the perfect getaway for us and apparently for many of our guests that return each year as well.
We are situated in a very quite neighborhood and area but at the same time are just minutes from 'civilization'. There is much to see and do within a 15 to 40 minute drive away, year round.
The owners' have done a great job making the house feel warm, cozy and welcoming to guests. We loved the location of the house as it is close to town yet feels secluded at the same time. Beautiful spot and wonderful experience for us!
We all loved the quiet atmosphere! Being close but enough out of town where no one was bothering us. The house is beautiful and well supplied.
My family and I went for a weekend . We had a great time played games ,watched t.v. . relaxing weekend . we had gone up to cut down a Christmas tree at rock farm in Bethlehem nh
We had fun doing that took our family Christmas picture . We had dinner at Shiloh's
Restaurant the service was great .i would recommend this home to anybody .
Everything was good, except we ended our stay midweek and didn't realize we had to travel with all of our trash for the long drive home.
Stayed here with friends for 6th time. Everyone loved it as usual.
I stayed at the Nauset Lodge for 3 nights in late September to visit family in the area. A few weeks later a family emergency brought us back. The house was clean with every thing we needed. The owners were easy to work with and always responded to my inquiries promptly. Our only complaint was the phone, it chimed/beeped about every 30 minutes, nothing we could do could make it stop. We shut the bedroom doors at night and were able to sleep through it. If staying in that area it is a great choice. There are not a lot of lodging choices in that area and this was the best we had tried.
Welcome to Nauset Lodge! This cozy authentic log cabin was featured in the May, 2007, issue of Country's Best Log Homes magazine.
We are located in the beautiful White Mountains with deeded rights to the Wild Ammonoosuc River, well known spot for panning for gold and gems. Easy access from our road onto ATV and Snowmobile Trails. Three ski resorts are located a short distance away. Loon Mountain is 26 miles away, Cannon Mountain is 29 miles away and New Hampshire's largest ski resort, Bretton Woods, is 36 miles away. We are one mile from the historic center of Bath, home to The Brick Store, America's oldest general store opened since 1790, and the Bath Covered Bridge, built in 1832. Bath is actually the home of three covered bridges with the Bath-Haverhill Bridge being the oldest covered bridge still in use in NH. Whale's Tale Water Park in Lincoln is 23 miles away. The quaint town of Littleton, full of shops, restaurants and antique stores, is just a 20 minute drive away.
