This first row oceanfront 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home is a charming, comfortable home with panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean from both the main level screened porch and upper level open deck. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, 23 Shipwatch is situated adjacent to a semi-private pool (available to Shipwatch neighborhood and condominium owners, guests, and renters only), and the beach walkway brings you to one of the best areas of Harbor Island’s 2.5 miles of natural, uncrowded beach.

All three bedrooms are upstairs, and the private master bath features a jetted tub.

The well-equipped kitchen connects to the laundry room and overlooks the dining area and great room which have expansive views across the dunes to the ocean. Savor incredible sunrises with your morning coffee from the deck off the master and adjacent upstairs bedrooms, main floor screened porch or main floor great room (note: living area fireplace is decorative only). WiFi, Direct TV and a sound system throughout the home add to your relaxation and pleasure.

Guests of 23 Shipwatch Drive enjoy the adjacent neighborhood pool which is reserved for use only by condominium and Shipwatch neighborhood owners and guests, as well as The Harbor Island Beach & Racquet Club facilities just a block away.

The Club features an Olympic sized pool overlooking the marshes of the Harbor River, a small kiddie wading pool, a sand volleyball court, tennis courts, a playground, a fitness center and a chipping green. If you are looking for a quiet escape in beautiful, natural surroundings, Harbor Island is the perfect spot for you! Harbor Island is a private, gated barrier island 14 miles from Beaufort SC. Ideally located for day trips, Harbor is about an hour and a half drive south to Savannah GA, and about two hours north to historic Charleston, SC. Beaufort, about 30 minutes away, offers boutique shopping, great restaurants, horse and buggy and walking tours of the historic district, and a tremendous waterfront park stretching along the Intracoastal Waterway with boat tours (dolphin watch, sunset cruise, eco-tours, etc.) departing from the marina. If golf is your thing, there are several moderately priced, easily accessible golf courses in the Beaufort area and many more an hour or so away on nearby Hilton Head Island. But we are betting you will never want to leave Harbor Island after you check into this fantastic home!

Current gate pass fee schedule: day pass (expires midnight on the date of issue) = $11.55; 1 night pass $11.55; 2 night pass $23.10; 3 nights $34.65; 4 nights $46.20; 5 nights: $57.75; 6-7 nights: $69.30; 8-14 nights $70.00; 15-21 nights $73.00; 22-30 nights $78.00; 31-90 nights $87.00; 91-364 nights $105. No charge for departure cleaning with weekly or monthly stays. Departure cleaning fee added to stays less than 7 nights. Seasonal dates/rates subject to change without notice.

To reserve, we need MC or Visa number, expiration date, billing and mailing addresses. 50% of total due at booking with the remaining 50% due 30 days prior to arrival. 100% of total due at booking if less than 30 days to arrival date. Accept MC, Visa, personal check: if paying by check we require a MC/Visa on file to guarantee payment and in lieu of a separate security deposit.
