Love to cook and host and enjoy the company of friends and family
Jason Kapoor purchased this townhome in 2012
This is a beautiful turn of the century brownstone. It is located in the heart of New York City and when not rented, we love to host family and friends for a get together. It is ideally located near everything wonderful that New York has to offer. It is a great place for people to reconnect with family and have a home away from home.
The brownstone has a full kitchen, washer dryer, dishwasher, hot tub, sauna, several televisions with cable and free internet.
We enjoyed the condo and location very much. Except for 2 of the 3 air mattresses all the amenities worked fine.
We had a group of 11 stay for the weekend. The place was clean and ready on time. The owner was very responsive to messages and made access to the place a breeze. Hot water, cold AC, quiet street, I would definitely stay here again!
Great location near everything you need. And the bedrooms and common areas are really spacious. I thought the photos were some kind of trick when I was booking the property. Bedrooms aren't really that big in New York are they? They are in this home. We had a great time. Would definitely recommend it and will be back!
This brown stone had everything we needed for a long weekend in NYC. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 5 adults and 3 children. The location is prime! Walkable to wonderful restaurants(Vezzo pizza is just around the corner) and subway stops. Jason was quick to answer questions and met us at checkin. Would definitely rent this one again!
This place is beautiful and really convenient. We had a family wedding in the Catskills and needed a place to stay for our group of 8 adults/relatives before flying home. It was easy to find, easy to park on the street, and Mr. Kapoor responded very quickly to any requests prior to arrival. It is a spacious apartment, that is well equipped and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again!
We loved it. Eight of us old friends gathered to spend a few days reacquainting and seeing the city. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to feel at home or feel more cared for. We loved the quiet neighborhood that was also just two blocks from the subway and half a block from taxis on Park Avenue. The brownstone has private access from the tree-lined street. Inside we had plenty of space to gather, a beautiful dining table, comfortable sofas and chairs, and outside porch overlooking the garden in the back. Beds were super comfortable and in the quiet neighborhood no one had trouble sleeping. Two full bathrooms and a half, accommodated everyone easily. The kitchen was well appointed and had plenty of space for cooking. A beautiful home.
Most of all, our group appreciated that the hosts communicated with us early, often, and without delay, from the first days of booking to the last moment. For every little request or question we had, someone arrived quickly to handle it. Everyone was cheerful, friendly, and well-wishing. I can hardly wait to go back, and when I do, I will certainly try to book here again. Having this great home to share was a big part of the success of our trip.
