About Patti Rogers

We live in the west and are 5 years short of retiring. We love to travel and adore the French culture although we do not speak French. The local people in Quebec are friendly and helpful and the food is amazing.

Patti Rogers purchased this apartment in 2005

Why Patti Rogers chose Quebec City

I fell in love with this place because it closely resembles Europe. I visit once or twice per year and will make it my part time residence once I retire as it is getting harder to travel to Europe.

What makes this apartment unique

We visit the local market daily located near the train station to get vegetables, meats and cheeses. We buy a fresh baguette daily across the street and sip at wine while we eat bread, cheese and pate. We enjoy the restaurants and local art.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We had a great time and your place was perfect. Parking was actually very convenient at the Hotel de Ville and the $92/Week (with re-entry) is reasonable for the area.

Loved walking around Old Quebec City, Citadel and Plains of Abraham.

We would not hesitate in recommending your place in the future.

Thanks again.

A little taste of France

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is quaint, modern, homey and perfect. Even though it is small it accommodated the four of us relatively well. One of the queen beds seemed to be more of a full size instead. The home is equipped with everything you need. The location is within walking distance of restaurants and local attractions. We had a car which made it nice for short excursions. We highly recommed this lovely apartment. The pictures portray the place perfectly.

Can't wait for next time!

  • 5 of 5

I simply loved this condo. The ambience was perfect for Old Quebec and we did not need a car at all, everything is walking distance. The condo itself was comfortable, unbelievably quiet and had everything we needed.

Planning a trip to Halifax next year with my sisters and hope to be able to show them your wonderful little gem.

Perfect Condo in the heart of old Quebec!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time in Vieux Quebec staying at this lovely condo!

I couldn't believe the perfect location - right in the heart of that beautiful city!!

We walked to all the major attractions, picked up beautiful baguettes, brie and terrine at the epicerie across the street for a quick meal and had the loveliest croissants at the cafe on the corner!

Grand festivities were happening just down the block if we chose to join, but if we chose to stay in for a quiet evening, the condo was perfect for our needs.

It was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and even better than I expected! This city is full of surprises.

Many many thanks for your hospitality and a perfect home away from home! Definite A+ recommendation.

Excellent Accommodation in desirable location

  • 5 of 5

This excellent apartment located within walking distance to points of interest as well as restaurants and groceries exceeded our expectations. The "old world charm" of the apartment with an updated kitchen and bath made it perfect for two couples. We have stayed in many rental accommodations and I must say that this apartment had the most well stocked kitchen of any. We had a cable problem with our TV whereas Annick was so helpful in getting the issue resolved. She was such a delightful young lady and even offered to call a taxi for us on our last day as we headed to the airport. Old Quebec has many points of interest which we were able to enjoy most all of them during our 7 day visit. We also enjoyed our day trips outside the city seeing the falls and touring the d'orleans island where we found some nice wineries to sample wines. I would recommend this accommodation to all my friends without any hesitation plus I would tell them it is a MUST they have an almond croissant at the Chez Temporal directly across the street from the apartment. I would also recommend Portofino Restaurant for a delicious evening meal. Thank you, Patti, for making it available to rent. We would love to come back and rent again.
