Custom-designed 4-bedroom/3 full bathroom home with private frontage on the Northeast river. Through the front door you enter into the open kitchen and dining area, complete with granite counter tops, stainless appliances, gas range, drop lighting, as well as hardwood and cork flooring. Beyond, you find the living room with stone gas fireplace, flat-screen television, and comfortable seating for relaxing with your favorite movie and glass of wine. Directly adjacent is the first of four bedrooms featuring a queen-size bed, ceiling fan, closet and full bathroom with handicapped accessible shower.
Heading towards the back yard you pass through the enclosed sunroom, perfect for picturesque sunrise breakfast or birdwatching. It also has the ability to sleep two people comfortably with a pillowtop futon.
Back inside, take the spiral staircase to the second floor to find the second bedroom with a double bed concealing a trundle underneath, beautiful dome-window, ceiling fan, skylights, and vaulted ceilings. Next door is the home office/bedroom with separate private entrance via sliding glass door and deck balcony. Also upstairs is the second full bathroom with stall shower and high vaulted ceilings. Finally, you enter the master suite complete with king bed, vaulted ceilings, skylights, and a seemingly 'wall of glass' facing the water, leading through glass sliders out to your private balcony high overlooking the river. To make the room complete is a master en-suite featuring a double vanity and two-person steam shower. Further amenities include built-in laundry on first floor, dual-zone climate control (by floor), oil heat, and computer room with WiFi internet.
Outside, prepare your summer dinners on the stainless gas grill, and enjoy them on the deck with wrought-iron accents hanging over the water complete with dining table and chairs. Then, travel down the steps to the waters' edge, where three moorings are available for your use, with a free public boat ramp only three doors down!
We stayed here at Chip and Gayle's paradise for our Niece's wedding in Charlestown. This house is very beautifully decorated a a very comfortable place to stay. Very clean and complete. Would recommend this place very highly to anyone! Thank you Gayle!
Rented Life on the water for a girls weekend away. The home was beautifully decorated, kitchen is fully equipped with most anything you could need & the location was perfect. So nice to wake up & sit by the river to sip your morning coffee. Plenty of sleeping room for the 6 of us. The washer capacity is small & it took a seversl hours to wash & dry the sheets & towels before leaving. Overall, a great house & location!
The photos of the home don't do it justice. This is a very well-kept property in a very peaceful area by the water. The home is very spacious, with many little nooks and crannies for relaxation and privacy. Right by the water, but no noise from boat traffic. Excellent sunroom for reading or napping, and the master bed and bath combination is amazing. Very well kept property and would recommend to anyone.
You will not be disappointed with your stay at Gayle and Chip's beautiful waterfront home. The property is very modern and well maintained with a beautiful deck overlooking the bay. The kitchen had everything you would need and an outdoor grill as well. There was also plenty of bedrooms for those with larger families and three mooring buoys that work great for our 23' boat. Also, the owners could not have been more helpful throughout every step of the process. Great time, will definitely be returning in the future.
Set out on Carpenter's point with serene surroundings, 202 Greenbank is truly a place to feel like you are worlds away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but close enough to plenty of restaurants and lots on interesting local shops in Northeast.
