I have had a long career in international development and traveled extensively for business and pleasure. I enjoy staying in beautiful private homes when I travel - prefer the feeling of home to hotels. This is my home that I rent in my absence, and it is furnished to make to feel like a home, in a very personal way - with vintage furniture and artifacts, rugs and artwork I have collected traveling around the work. Hope you like this style and will enjoy its multicultural feel.
Zoya purchased this House in 2002
Why Zoya chose Ednor Gardens - Lakeside
This is a special home, decorate creatively and with love. Take a look at the photos. It is in a quiet and friendly diverse neighborhood, but close to everything. Plenty of parking, but the bus stop is right next door too. You can walk to Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus and the JHU shuttle stop. Near Preakness, Union Memorial Hospital's Hand Center, Baltimore City Museum, and other sites.

very nice, as always!
This was our 4th visit (at least) and the house was as pleasant, clean, and convenient as always. Thanks again!
Thank you very much. Pleasure to have you, as always:)
Great and comfortable home!
We enjoyed our stay very much! Look forward to our next visit!
Thank you for your kind words. We are looking froward to having you again.
Adorable home in a cute area
We stayed for 10 weeks in this house and had a WONDERFUL experience. Zoya and Robert are very attentive and prompt to respond to any questions or issues we may have experienced. The setup is very homey and welcoming and we had access to plenty of street parking (and a parking space in the back), a fully equipped kitchen and really nice washer/dryer. The neighborhood is pretty nice and we would walk around in the afternoon and felt safe. (Just be careful if you cross 33rd street, it's a very different area than this neighborhood.) There is also a lake with a walking/biking path less than a mile away that's awesome for running/walking/biking and there are always people around.
Thank you Kelly. Glad you liked the neighborhood and enjoyed the house. Pleasure meeting you too and you are welcome back any time.
Good value for the price.
Solid middle class property, clean and nice.
Thanks, you are welcome back any time.
Perfect home base for moving our son to college
We needed a home away from home across the country to collect all the items my son needed to move into his dorm room. We also wanted a convenient location to downtown, suburbia, and DC so we could vacation a little, as well as prepare my son for college. Zoya's place had all the comforts of home from which to launch our boy on to the next phase of his life. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the lack of wifi available during our visit. The caretaker and owner both tried to work with the provider to turn it back on so I think the problem was bigger than them but we were at the very end of our data plan so it was a bit of an incovenience. The home was cozy and the neighborhood was quiet and convenient for all we needed.
Thank you Karen, glad you enjoyed the house. Regarding the Wifi, we had had repeated problems with Verizon lately, inconveniencing our guests. We finally got fed up and decided to change providers. That also was a process and the proper installation required some pushing and shoving with the new provider's installers. What happened to customer service in this country? In any case, we could provide modest hotspot service during the transition period. Sorry for the inconvenience. Hope you will come stay with us again - now all is in good order and the speed is great.
Great charm in a safe neighborhood
The house was great; a lot of space, easy to find close street parking and the surrounding neighborhood was nice
Thank you Al, glad you found everything to your liking. We were happy to have you and will look forward to hosting you again the the future.
I never thought I would ever live in a city until I found my haven in Ednor Gardens. A mix of people: young and older, with ancestors from every part of the globe, make it, block by block, the best place to live in Baltimore. -Diane
