We are a family of 4 with two young children who love this cabin. We grew up in Ohio and now live in Las Vegas.
Adam Thomas purchased this cabin in 2012
We bought this Cabin because of the unique modern styling that makes it stand out from the standard log siding cabins that are all over Brian Head. Out thoughts are that just because it is a cabin, it does not mean that it has to look inside and out like it was built in the 1800's.
The combination of the modern styling and the incredible views that are seen from most rooms of the cabin were what made us choose this cabin.
Would highly recommend this house! Lots of stuff to entertain! The owner Adam Thomas was very accommodating whenever there was a question.. Also everything needed to cook with was on hand..
Awesome cabin and came as advertised. Minor wear and tear on a few things throughout the cabin but this place is definitely the best value for the price on the mountain. Cabin is ~1/4 mile from giant steps and we walked back for lunch on both days. Great deck with nighttime view of night skiing operations and stargazing once the lights turn off. Giant couch in main living room area makes a good place to congregate in the mornings and evenings as rooms are fairly secluded from each other. Overall, we had a wonderful time staying at the Lee street cabin and will certainly come back again!
We really enjoyed our stay! It was close to everything...we even walked to Pizzano's Pizza and to the store. Easy walk to Giant Steps. We could build a sledding slope in the yard as well as tunnel forts. Nice accomadations and cozy atmosphere. .we enjoyed it thoroughly.
We had a great time! The cabin was perfect for our family...kids played pool and air hockey it was great. The 6 inches of snow we got make the skiing perfect, thanks for sending in that storm Adam!
The house definitely accommodates a large number of people and has some great amenities: washer/drier, TV with lots of channels (including movie channels), plenty of towels, etc. For some reason, when we called the shuttle number, they told us we needed to call another service. We had cars, so we just drove, but would have liked to use the shuttle a couple of times. Speaking of cars, just a heads up that there is no covered parking or garage. We parked along the street. Also, the house is large, but just know that there are not large rooms (aside from the basement). It is split into three levels and if you have a large group where everyone wants to be together at the same time (i.e. you want to have a game night), it's not likely that more than 6-8 people will comfortably fit in one area. We had 5 adults and 6 kids. A great perk was the kids could go play in the basement area or up where the fuse ball table was, while the adults sat around the kitchen table or visited in the living room. The house was clean on the surface, but lots of cobwebs hung from the ceilings in the bathroom and living room. Also there was lots of dust under the beds and my 6 year old daughter found a pair of dirty underwear under her bed. Just seems like the housekeeping could do a better job. The house is definitely older and could use some upkeep. The location is great! You're super close to the lifts. Our family overall had a wonderful time.
Located in the heart of the Brian Head Ski Resort with exceptional skiing and mountain biking in the summer. Cabin is only a couple of miles from the Cedar Breaks National Monument. 60 miles from Bryce Canyon and 82 miles from Zion National Park.
