Breathtaking views!

  • 5 of 5

Sitting on the villa patio now as I write this review. Altho the Dominicalito Beach is close, we've found the patio is our favorite space to spend most days. The view from the minute you enter the front door to every room-is spectacular. Watching surfers, paragliders, a variety of birds and a nice tropical breeze is wonderful. A toucan sat on the tree just off the patio one morning. And a male basilisk lizard joined us yesterday briefly. Then a dip or 2 in the pool to cool off ---exquisite. As others have said-a 4x4 is essential, the road is very steep and very rough. It would be a short walk down to the beach, but the uphill return very hot & difficult for most. The villa complex is built on a steep hill above the main coastal highway. If we had one small negative it would be the traffic noise. However, it never drowned out the sound of the surf and did quiet down at night. Restaurants & very well stocked minimart close by. Jolly Roger was good but why come to Costa Rica to eat American bar food. Our favorite Por Que No for sunset sitting at the bar- but reservations for dinner a good idea. Terrific food at Los Laureles in nearby Uvita. Schedule an early AM nature hike at Hacienda Baru. We saw toucans, sloths, monkeys, wild pigs, lizards, and a variety of other birds.

Extremely perfect condo!!!

  • 5 of 5

Definitely the best part of this home it's all about the ocean view. It is truly jaw dropping. The house itself is very clean, new and modern. Each room has the ocean view and overall the whole house was extremely well planned. It is of very good taste and everything is perfect, down to the tiniest detail. Hope to return soon!!!

Great ocean and sunsets views

  • 5 of 5

My wife and another couple stayed at this villa for 4 nights and had a great time. The villa had all the amenities that you require. The small dunk pool was very refreshing after spending the day exploring the surrounding areas. You will definitely require a 4x4 vehicle to access the villa as the road is quite steep and rough. We would not hesitate to stay at this place again. Make sure you check out the local Jolly Roger restaurant for the best chicken wings in CR. Minor (property manager) was very helpful in the booking process and ensured that our needs/requirements were taken care of. His support staff was also helpful in booking adventure tours. I would not hesitate in recommending this villa.

Where do you live?

  • 5 of 5

Our stay in this villa was fabulous! The high ocean view is definitely great! The rooms and all amenities worked perfectly for our family. As mentioned on other reviews, Minor was always quick to respond our questions or needs. We can say this is definitely one of the best places to stay in Dominicalito.

picture perfect

  • 5 of 5

This is a perfect spot to stay in the area. The property manager Minor was excellent and he always responded to our needs. The view from the picture window was a joy every day. The only thing to consider is you do need a car and the walk back up the hill from the beach can be a bit of work out . Everything from restaurants -to groceries -to multiple beaches are close by. We loved it and booked again for next year so all good.

Great location, Spectacular view!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it! As soon as we walked in, all we could say was wow! The view is stunning and the place is well furnished. There is a nearby Minimart to buy groceries. The beach is very close and our favorite Restaurant is "?Por que no?" And the laid back "Tortilla Flats". We also like LA Parcells (spelling?) And The Happy Lobster about 15-20 minutes north. **I highly recommend getting a GPS and a 4 wheel drive due to steep roads and no road names.

There are beautiful waterfalls nearby and we even saw a sloth on the property!

Minor was great from beginning to end and worked with us on late arrival and late departure tImes. He made the whole process very smooth.

The Central Pacific region hosts tropical forests teeming with exotic wildlife and foliage, in addition to beach towns brimming with opportunities for surf, sport fishing, or relaxation. Highlights of the area include Manuel Antonio National Park with its abundance of monkeys and other land and marine life; Marino Ballena and Caño Island for snorkel and diving experiences. The emerging beach town of Dominical offers as much or as little adventure and you desire. Here the landscape changes dramatically, as the mountainous rainforest meets the ocean for a truly visually dramatic display.
