It was a pleasure staying in your lovely cottage for our nephew's and grandson's graduation from Hobart! We would love to visit again. Thank so much.

Cozy and Relaxing Place

  • 5 of 5

My dog and I enjoyed a very relaxing stay at this quaint cottage. It was well supplied with everything you needed. The only down side was not able to go swimming because the water was not clean or clear near the waters edge. I would definitely rent this again!

Very nice cozy little place

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed my stay in this very little cozy cottage. The place was fully stocked with everything needed. The only down side was the trains, but is seems they only run from Sun - Thurs night.

Peaceful and relaxing vacation

A nice time was had by my husband and I and of course our golden retriever! Watkins Glen state park was our favorite, got some great exercise in!!

The cottage was tiny but comfortable.

Great little getaway

  • 5 of 5

The little cottage was a great little place to get away from everything. It was a little cold while we were there and the cottage was very cozy. The view of the lake from the cottage is fantastic. We got to sit on the dock for a short time and it was so peaceful and relaxing. I didn't realize it was going to be right by the train tracks but I was pleasantly surprised that when the train went by it really wasn't all that loud so it's nothing to detract from this great little cottage. Everything in the cottage was clean and set up very nicely with lots of pamphlets available for the area. My dog was welcome there and he had a great time as well. We visited Watkins Glen state park and, although the main gorge trail was closed, did a little hiking. We also visited a few wineries on both sides of the lake and took a trip over to Ithaca. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to go back some day.

Beautiful Location

  • 4 of 5

The cottage is situated right on the lake with a great early morning view of the sunrise. The cottage was very clean and provided all of the necessities. Nothing fancy but more than adequate. It is tiny and I would not want to have more than 2 adults there. We had cold weather, so outside usage was limited, but it would be very nice in the warmer weather with the water a few steps from the deck. The major drawback is the sleeping loft with a very low ceiling. We managed OK but anyone with limited mobility would have difficulty. There is a day bed on the lower level which we did not open.
