Return Visitors - We love this Cape house!

  • 5 of 5

We spent our fourth week at this wonderful Cape house in August and we will return again next summer. House is wonderful with an open floor plan in the main living area and a bunk house in the back yard which our children loved. The street is quiet as is the surrounding area. But just one mile away you will be able to enjoy dining, ice cream shop, pizza, gourmet grocer and more. There's enough in this area that you'd never have to see route 6 until it is time to leave. Only a 5 minute drive to the beach, and 10 minutes to Orleans center. When you arrive you will be happy that you are away from the busier parts of the Cape, and it's your choice whether to seek that out or stay in this wonderful area. Great outside local activities: Nauset Beach is amazing and you can get an over-sand permit to drive on the beach (check the website for vehicle requirements), Goose Hummock rents kayaks and paddle boards, get a clamming license, crab less than a mile from the house and jump off the dock at Meeting House Pond. Great combination of a great house in a wonderful area.

Very clean and well maintained

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for a little gem of a cottage to escape to, this is the place. Surrounded with beautiful flowers and all the comforts of home. Nice bright airy cottage. Close proximity to the beach and fantastic places to eat. Great location to explore other areas of the Cape. We are glad to have discovered it, love it, and are heading back next year for our third time.

Wonderfully Charrming Cape Magic!

  • 5 of 5

Idyllic Cape cottage in a wonderful spot just a couple of miles from Nauset Beach. My two children and I spent a relaxing vacation at Deborah and Mark’s home this summer. Sweet home where we enjoyed some much needed family time. Simple pleasures included morning coffee on the Adirondack chairs under the cedar trees and early morning walks down the road to see the sunrise (with a cup of coffee of course). My daughter enjoyed her morning/afternoon runs down the quite roads and my son loved his stay at the bunk house. The roses and hydrangeas are beautiful! First year at this cottage and we loved it so much we already reserved for 2016.

Beautiful Cottage, Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of four from the UK who stayed here for a week in August 2015. The cottage is beautiful and has all the comfort and facilities one could wish for. Liaison with Deborah and Mark the owners was very easy. We hired bikes for the week and were able to access beaches (free bike parking) and many other local attractions. It is a quiet but accessible and beautiful part of the Cape and we could not have had a better week. Simply perfect.

Our Son and his family rented the cottage in July 2013. We were invited for a visi,t and fell in love with this charming cottage, which prompted us to rent it for our Cape vacation last Summer. We now are looking forward to returning again next Summer. The location is great, near lots of things to do, including great restaurants, and many outdoor activities. Deborah is extremely hospitable, and easy to work with, and greeted us on the first day of our vacation at the cottage for an orientation.

Gorgeous Gem of a Spot

  • 5 of 5

Deborah was very easy to communicate with and welcomed us as we arrived. The cottage is exactly as it is pictured - beautifully decorated and all the essentials to make for a wonderful vacation. 2.5 miles to Nauset Beach - a beautiful walk/run down waterfront vistas if you are so inclined. There was plenty of room for cooking, hanging out doing jigsaw puzzles during one of the only rainy days, having cocktails in the front or back of house, and resting comfortably. The landscaping is beautiful, the location convenient, and house is very clean. Suggest bringing your steaming coffee in the morning down to the marina .5 miles down the road. The light is beautiful!
