Charming property, well maintained and with all the conveniences we needed. Great location in lovely little town. The owners answered all queries in advances and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Its an old house and comes with all its own quirks, which make it all the more charming. Couldn't recommend it any more for a family.

This is a fabulous property. In the heart of everything. Hope to come back soon.

I was very impressed with the location of the property and the house itself. Everything was exactly as stated in the property summary. Even better than advertised. Owners are very nice and extremely helpful. They have a book for renters that spell out everything you need to know about the area. We enjoyed walking everywhere. We loved the farmers market and had several nice bike rides around the harbor. The musical light show is great. The kitchen has everything you need to cook great dinners. Porch large enough for the six of us plus more. I highly recommend this property. I just don't want the word to get out on this special gem or it might not be available when I want to come back. Five stars plus.

Beautiful property to celebrate a wedding!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this property for our daughters wedding. It easily accommodated 6 and was a great place for the bridesmaids to get ready and for a Sunday morning brunch. When it was just my husband and I from Tuesday to Friday it was the perfect place to relax and unwind from the festivities. So close to downtown, the boardwalk to the pier and the farmers market. Beds were comfortable, house was clean and the front porch and back deck were great places to sit and read. Paul and Marty were very accessible and helpful. We would highly recommend this property to others!

Comfortable and Family-Oriented

  • 3 of 5

Paul Arnold was really great to work with and very accommodating. He was flexible on dates and a few other issues and very responsive to any questions my husband and I had. The house is homey and really comfortable. The only reason I am giving this property a threer star instead of a five star is because the house was not as clean as my husband and I had expected. Several of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty so we washed all of the dishes in the dishwasher that we planned on using. Also, the bathrooms were not as clean as I am used to, so I spent the first day cleaning them and dusting the furniture in the living room. Cleaning the first day of my arrival after traveling on a red-eye flight was not our idea of relaxing. Also, the DVD player did not work. However, that being said, the house is large, cozy and charming.

Owner's Response: We are sorry our guests were disappointed. We pride ourselves on providing a clean home and in four years have never had a complaint. We will in future inspect the dishes as they come out of the dishwasher. We replaced the DVD the day we learned it was not working and would have offered to do so during their stay had they given us a call.
