We enjoyed our stay at Azalea Grove. The location is very nice in relation to the beach and to Seaside via a short bike ride. The kitchen is poorly stocked, lacking several basic supplies for cooking throughout one's stay. Also, the 3rd floor room that houses the bunk beds is without window shades causing your kids to rise very early when the sun comes up.
We had a great stay at Azalea Grove. The house was nice and well cared for and was in a great location.
This is our 3rd year to stay in Azalea Grove. Altho we continue to book this house because of it's close proximity to the beach, it needs some enhancements. The kitchen is not as well stocked as other houses, there are ants in the kitchen, the downstairs bedroom desperately needs a TV. The loft needs shades for someone to sleep up there. We have recommended these things in the past, but nothing has come of it. We do like the house, but for the price you pay, you should at least have a TV in every bedroom.
We just got home from a week at azalea house. The house was great, we chose not to heat the pool. There are two masters in the house, one bedroom has the awesome huge bathroom and queen bed, the other has a king bed and small bathroom. The loft room upstairs has no drapes, so the sun shining in is very bright and there is no way to try to cut down the heat generated from being on the 3rd floor... The bottom floor has a queen bed. The problem is that none of the beds have box springs, they are simply mattresses on slats. By the end of the week, we cannot move, our backs are completely messed up, which is sad because we had looks forward to running each day. We can barely walk, driving home was awful. Also, we were happy to have new towels until I did laundry and the fluffy messed up the dryer and consequently all our non towel clothes. My Lululemon exercise clothes are ruined from the towel fuzz. Sunburst, we'd rent through you in the future, but I hope that other properties have higher quality bed situations, we're in tremendous pain.
Location was amazing, close to walk to Seaside, the beach, but far enough away to hear just some dogs barking, kids kicking balls, no sounds of 30a, very very peaceful!
