Our upgrades to our condo include:

- bought new in Sept 2016: 48 inch LED Internet-enabled HD TV (you can stream Netflix movies for free)

- free wireless internet connection

- good couch and chairs (couch pulls out to Queen bed) - bought Sept. 2015

- washer and dryer so you can do laundry in the comfort of the condo

- ceiling fans

- and in Oct. 2016 we bought a new Port-a-Crib and collapsible stroller for guests bringing their smaller guests

We are the proud owners of this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo located on the west coast of Maui in the Honokowai region. Located 5 miles north of downtown Lahaina, the Paki Maui condo resort is oceanfront and right next door to Honokowai Beach Park, where the kids can enjoy a playground and beach. Enjoy the ocean views of Molokai and Lanai'i from the Paki Maui lawn: sip your morning coffee while watching the waves come in or sometimes turtles feeding on the reefs (or even watch humpback whales November - April) and come back later with a Mai Tai to watch the beautiful sunset over the Pacific.

We consider our beautifully remodeled condo as our second home, and yours: you won't be roughing it as you'll enjoy the modern amenties, from the granite kitchen countertops and tile floors throughout to the claw-foot bathtub great for bathing the little ones after a day at the beach. As well, we've installed a 48 inch Samsung LED HD TV (Sept. 2016) where you can stream free Netflix movies from an online library, using our Netflix account. Enjoy breakfast on the private lanai off the family room or take a well-deserved afternoon nap on one of the chaise lounges on the other lanai off the master bedroom.

Our intention is to provide a great value for families - affordable yet upscale at the same time. The master bedroom has a Cal King bed, the guest bedroom has a Queen bed, and the couch in the family room has a comfortable Queen size fold out bed (bought in Sept. 2015). Plus in Oct. 2016 we bought a Port-a-Crib and collapsible stroller (remove child first!) to accommodate guests with small children so you don't have to haul those items from home. And you'll notice that we won't charge you for additional guests - our unit sleeps up to 6 people yet unlike other condo owners we won't charge you a fee for each person up to the 6. You can all cool down with the trade winds coming through both sliding glass doors, as well as ceiling fans in every room. We also have free wireless in the condo, high speed internet access, cable HD Internet-enabled TV for streaming Netflix movies in the family room, and a DVD player in the guest bedroom. As well, we had a washer/dryer installed in the condo.

Directly across the street you'll find the popular Farmers' Market every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning for fresh local produce, fruit, breads and the like! Feel free to meander to the deli/market, grab some coffee at the Bad Ass Coffee company and shop at a number of stores across the street.

The Paki Maui grounds are meticulously maintained, with mango and banana trees, a tropical garden with exotic Hawaiian flowers, as well as a koi fish pond with waterfall. You will enjoy the pool and jacuzzi on the grounds plus can relax on the resort's lounge chairs on the lawn at the ocean and under the palm trees. And feel free to prepare your own meals on the gas BBQs available in the swimming pool area.

I have lived my whole life in northern California and have great memories of family vacations to Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Santa Cruz and sometimes even Maui. Why Jill chose Maui

We love the ~5 mile proximity to downtown Lahaina if we want that tourist experience, yet Paki Maui isn't in the middle of that hustle and bustle.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoyed watching the whales on our trip in March 2011 and February 2012. And the turtles are a favorite too! Quite simply, going down to the resort lawn in the morning with a cup of joe to watch the whales and turtles is magical.

My husband & I stayed in your condo with Kathy & Rick the week of Sept. 3rd. I know she already thanked you but I wanted to tell you, also, how much we enjoyed it. It was so perfect for us, definitely quality, but we really enjoyed the new mattresses. At our age, that's important and I wasn't expecting to sleep in such comfort. The condo was beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked. Thank you for your gracious hospitality!

Awesome Location!!!

We loved this condo! Jill was so wonderful to work with!

She provided so many amenities (pack n play, coolers, basic condiments in the fridge and cupboards). In my opinion, this location was the best in all of Kaanapali! There was a Farmer's Market just outside our door as well as The Fish Market! They had the best fish and fish tacos I have ever tasted. Bad Ass Coffee was just up the street (we could see it from our lenai) and the coffee was so delicious. Ok I have to stop talking about the food, it's making me want to jump on a plane right now! ;)

The Condo was very comfy. The master bedroom had a bath and plenty of space to store our luggage and unpack our clothes. There are 2 lanai's that we used everyday. The living room had a pull out couch sofa, so that came in handy for our nanny to sleep on! The kitchen was great, and we LOVED having our own washer and dryer in the condo. We did several loads each day. There's also an ABC store within walking distance that we were able to purchase soap and what not from. We were really impressed with the amount of shops and restaurants right out our door. I would definitely say this is a great place for families, as well as adults. Our room was right by the trash shoot, and that might not sound glamorous but we were so grateful it was there! Made taking out the trash 1000 times easier!

Every morning we would make a mimosa (or a POGmosa) and sit by the water and watch the turtles. SO MANY TURTLES! You just don't get that staying south of Black Rock. Huge whales would breach right in front of us each day, it was just so amazing. We could hear the ocean all night. We left the huge slider doors open all night with just the screens shut. It was perfection.

There's also a state park right next to the condo, so for younger kids wanting to burn some energy, that was a nice option. And it was on the beach so win win for the kids and parents! The beach in front of the condo is not swimmable, however, the rocks for provide sanctuary from the huge waves. So for smaller kids just wanting to splash around in the tidal pools, it was ideal!

The property was very nice, a little older but still nice. Nothing fancy but we weren't there to sit inside and admire the walls ;) Also, only $20 for the whole trip to park. Most places wanted $20 a day!! We stopped at Costco on our way in (same prices as California prices yay!) and we used the BBQ's by the pool to grill fish and try tip (and veggies from the farmers market!).

Nice escape from busy city life

We were lucky to book this unit. Jill the owner responded our request quickly.

Everything was great when we were there. The unit was especially clean and spacious. Two balconies both have partial view of the ocean. Netflix account was definitely a bonus and we watched a few movies while enjoyed our stay.

Overall, highly recommended.

The only thing should be aware is the noise from the street as we come from a quiet community. It's a bit hard for us to adjust in a few days.

A nice place to stay.

Myself, adult children and grandson enjoyed our stay. The unit was spacious, clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and the beds were comfortable. Even though the unit was in the front of the building and not on the ocean, the street sounds didn't bother me. Our lanai was facing a garden view with a lot of birds. We didn't feel deprived not having an ocean side view because we were outside most of the time.

Paki Maui Paradise

What a perfect condo for enjoying Maui. Location, amenities, homey feel all contribute to making it an ideal place to stay. Loved the location in Honokowai close to great take out food and a wonderful farmers market. The ocean view and sea breezes made it so comfy and beautiful. Great Location and TURTLES!

We really enjoyed our experience at the condo! It was bright, clean and spacious enough for the four of us. It was great having a large well-stocked kitchen to cook in - especially with a fish market and farmers' market just across the street. Every night my family and I enjoyed dinner on the balcony followed by a drink out on the grass while watching the sunset. The highlight was definitely spotting turtles in the water right outside the condo!

great family vacation spot

We had a wonderful family vacation this summer, thanks in part to Jill's clean and welcoming condo. The condo had everything we needed, and the extra floor fans came in handy when the trade winds died down toward the end of our stay. The beds were comfortable and the location was ideal for our family of 6. The washer and dryer was a wonderful extra. We walked to local eateries and markets for fresh fruit and local grinds. We visit Maui every few years, and will definitely try to book Jills place again.
