Great property, great hosts!
We stayed here during a SUPER cold weekend over the holidays. Len and his son-in-law, Jay, could not have been nicer -- they even made sure we had sleds to play in the snow.
This is a fantastic property to stay in with kids. The owners have highchairs, pack and plays, and all the necessities for little ones.
Our party of two small families (each with one toddler) had a great long weekend playing outside, enjoying the great kitchen, and sitting by the fire. Highly recommend staying here!
Good location for skiing. Very spacious and beds were comfy!
Beautiful home, great location!
My boyfriend and I had one of our best vacations ever! The home was spacious, clean, with a beautiful chef's kitchen and back yard patio. There's nothing we didn't love about this place. The location was close to many vacation destinations, yet tucked away in a private wooded area. The host was very friendly and helpful, and was always available if needed. We visited Stowe, Smuggler's Cove, Mt. Mansfield, Cabot Cheese factory, Burlington, then drove a short distance into Montreal for a couple of nights. As a native Floridian, I had never seen a *real* autumn before, so we timed it just right for the turning of the leaves. Beautiful. This vacation was top notch all the way.
Awesome Home, Clean and Convienent
Had a great stay, everything was very easy and owners readily abvailable and extremely helpful. We would highly recommend this home to our friends and family and will definetly book again when visiting the area!
We chose Jeffersonville for our annual reunion of three families. My son's family wanted to camp, so they stayed at a wonderful campsite, and we initially chose this home because of its proximity to the campsite.
However, my husband and I and my daughter's family like our creature comforts. And, boy, did we get lucky! The house is absolutely gorgeous and in updated super-great condition. The huge first-floor Master Bedroom w/bath was a godsend for my disabled veteran husband.
There were fun things to do every day: Teenagers loved Arbor Trek and the Little River State Park and, of course, the Ben & Jerry's factory. Also saw Glen Moss Falls, Mt. Mansfield. Took a drive to Burlington and saw Lake Champlain and the World's biggest filing cabinet (good only for photo opportunity). The Mall was so interesting I could have spent even more time there. A highlight was the fireworks at Smugg's featuring the Army Band and fireworks going off over the mountain.
The manager was very responsive and personable via text/email. We actually never met him or spoke on the phone, but there was really no need to as everything went so smoothly.
The property was as advertised and very close to Smuggler's Notch as expected. The property was clean and well maintained, and the owner was very responsive and accommodating, which we greatly appreciated!
7 minutes to the Smuggler's Notch Resort and lifts.
