The beautiful 2/1 apt. in a historic building of Old San Juan overlooks Calle Tetuan from its 2 balconies and even offers a peak of the water on the San Juan Bay Area. 4 persons can comfortably sleep in 2 bedrooms on 2 twin and 1 queen bed, the kitchen is equipped , the living has a sofa and dinner table for 4, as well as a TV with a down-streaming device (Roku) to watch movies, wireless Internet is available and the apartment offers as well A/C, ceiling fans, plus washer/ dryer and iron with board. It is only steps away from restaurants, coffee shops (we especially recommend “Cuatro Sombras” literally around the corner) , museums, nightlife, shops, banks, 500 year old Spanish forts, bus terminals, public garages, street parking and more….
We loved this apartment! The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Old San Juan, within two blocks from the ocean, a fantastic coffee shop and a grocery store. Everything in Old San Juan is very close by so bars and restaurants were also close. The apartment is gorgeous, the photos don't really do it full justice...airy 15 ft ceilings, and tall beautiful wooden doors opening onto a beautiful balcony that lets the sea breeze blow in. Everything was very clean. The hosts were easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I would love to stay there again!

We stayed here for a week in February. The apartment is ideally located within old San Juan and is within walking distance of all old San Juan attractions and basic necessities like grocery store, pharmacy etc. The apartment is also clean, comfortable and efficient although not as well equipped as other rental properties I have stayed in. For example no basic condiments like salt and pepper or sugar were supplied, no laundry detergent etc etc. We had a few issues with amenities during our stay (air conditioner, Internet etc) but the property manager was always accessible and tried their best to resolve them. At the end of our stay, they offered a 100$ refund to compensate for these inconveniences at their own behest, which was a nice gesture. The check in and out were super efficient. I would stay here again given the fabulous location and comfort of the apartment.
Management were great meeting us very promptly at the entrance door, it was a super easy taxi ride from the airport, (which tells you the fare before you get in).
The condo itself, is located very well, one of the days we stayed we watched as crews filmed a movie in the streets directly below our balcony.
There are some deferred maintenance issues, but nothing urgent. Old San Juan is loud at night, cars blasting music with windows rolled down provide great local color but the doors and windows do nothing to soften the sounds, so bring your earplugs. Of course noise is be expected in a dense and vibrant city, and part and parcel of city living, so it will be there no matter which of these beautiful old homes you pick.
Wanda , was great she provided real local insight and made arrival and exit a pleasure. She is a true asset .
great location! very centric in Old San Juan. In the mornings great cafes around the corner and in the evenings many quaint bars and restaurants…The apartment was very nice, with great cross ventilation and nice balcony, comfy beds. Looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended.
