Overall I liked this condo, it was clean and we LOVED the location. However, we went with three families and the kitchen is SMALL making meal prep difficult with so many people. The common area is also very small to accommodate 12 people.
In addition, we experienced extremely cold weather (certainly out of everyones control) however the heating pipes froze on the main level and we found out from the maintenance guy that we weren't supposed to use the gas fireplace in cold weather. This added a major nuisance to our vacation - worrying about the pipes and moving space heaters around. Certainly not something we wanted to have to deal with for three days. The downstairs bedroom is also extremely COLD due to a very poorly insulated sliding door so we had the heat cranked to 80 degrees . This thermostat also controlled the upstairs bedrooms so our friends up there were sleeping in 90 degrees and having to open their windows in -25 degree weather.
We went during a PEAK week (Massachusetts Feb break) and paid a huge premium for this condo so I would have liked a discount for our troubles. After several emails and phone calls with the realtor it was clear this was not an option. That was very disappointing.
This was our first trip to Bretton Woods, we would definitely go back - not to this condo. However, if you had less people and no extreme weather I am sure it would be fine.
Everything about our stay was great. The management company made check in and out easy. Discounted lift tix were great. Condo was in great shape, ski in ski out, very clean and had lots of room. Linens were included! The shuttle was an added bonus. We would definitely go back.
There's lots to do in the white mountains of nh....We've listed a few thing here and we can share more with you upon request. Climb mount washington, enjoy a tour on the scenic cog railway, ski bretton woods or cannon mountain, gold at the mount washington hotel, vist arethusa falls, tour the robert frost museum, the choices are endless.

Q: What is your reservation and cancellation policy for vacation rentals?
A: At the time of booking your vacation rental, Peabody & Smith Realty, Inc. will hold your vacation dates at the property selected and email you a rental contract. We require a minimum $500 deposit up front. Within 14 days of making your reservation, the rental contract must be received to complete the reservation. Your reservation is not complete until receipt of signed contract and deposit. Final payment of your rental is required 30 days prior to arrival. When any reservation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, full payment is expected at time of booking.
In the unfortunate event you need to cancel your trip the following cancellation policy will take effect.
· All cancellations must be received in writing.
· If you cancel 30 days or more prior to arrival; half of the deposit will be refunded.
· If you cancel 30 days or less prior to arrival; no refund will be honored.
If your vacation rental dates are re-rented your deposit and final payment will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee.
