Great location just outside Wickford Village, large and homey 5 bedroom 4 bathroom house on Boston Neck Road. An ideal layout for two families or multi-generational gatherings, the property consists of a traditional Cape style home with a Townhouse addition built recently. Enjoy grilling and frisbee in the large back yard. Convenient to Pizza Parlors as well as fine dining. River kayaking, ocean beaches and fresh water ponds all within easy reach.

Brent Trainer 'AKA' SkiMan purchased this house in 2011
This property is 1.5 miles about 4 minutes to Wickford Seaside Village. Wickford Village is a water front village where you can stroll the sidewalks, stop for ice cream and marvel at the historic homes linking the tree covered streets. Wickford harbor provides picturesque views, beautiful sunsets and access to rental boats. Wickford provides easy access to the city of Newport (12 minutes), swimming in Narragansett Bay and an easy ride to the City of Providence (which can be accessed by commuter train.)
Great location and this home has a unique layout which is spacious for two families to spread out.
We had a great time here after summer in town.
(left Providence for Newport, stayed one month when between homes)

We had a great late-summer stay at this property during the week leading up to Labor Day 2016. Our 4 year old had fun running around the big backyard. Everything was advertised - the property is in a great location within Rhode Island - easy access to everywhere you would want to go in the Ocean State - cute town of Wickford and North Kingstown Town Beach are very close - within a mile. Otherwise, short drive north to Warwick and Providence, short drive east to Newport and the East Bay and short drive south to the beaches and restaurants of South County. Place was plenty big for our group - nice, modern kitchens were great and plenty of sitting room in living rooms. If your group is at the outer limits of what the property can hold, you might be concerned by the smallness and mustiness of some of the rooms, but it was perfect for us.
Had a great time. The yard is large and private. It provides a great place for kids to play. The house was comfortable with many air conditioning units throughout. One large kitchen would be preferred over the two small ones but we made it work. The teens complained of spotty wi-fi but overall we had a terrific time.
The house was perfect for our 2 families. The cape side has 2 bedrooms upstairs and one on main floor and a full bath and the newer townhouse side has 2 upstairs bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. Both kitchens were very nice and the fridges were huge. The larger eating area is on the townhouse side. The backyard is huge and there is a nice seating area and a fire pit area. It was hot and humid so the bugs were a problem which limited our evenings out back.
The house is so close to so much. Narragansett is within 15 min and also Jamestown and Newport. And there is horseback riding 15 miles at Goddard Park. Lots of bicycle trails. The owners Brent and Lee were so helpful sending us links to places and bike trails.
Plus there is a washer dryer and extra sleeping rooms downstairs on the townhouse. We had a wonderful experience and we can't wait to come back. Thanks Lee & Brent!
House was excellent. Plenty big enough for our 6 adults and 3 children. All amenities needed were there. The set up can be a little confusing with the two kitchens (going back and forth to find tools and plates and cups etc) but everything else was great. WiFi worked well. Beach could be walked to (and we did) but not real close and somewhat bland, no waves or boardwalk. Nice truck food available though. Little Wickford is a great small town with nice restaurants. Large yard was ideal for the kids. We put up a small pool and they had a ball. All in all, with small children this house is a great option. For the adults Scarborough beach was great but a little far and expensive to park. We went to Providence for the Childrens Museum and the Zoo, both nice. Walmart is close as well. Plenty of golf in the area and the County Fair was a fun, unexpected treat. Owner came by to ask for anything we might need which was nice.
This house is an awesome vacation house. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, 2 living rooms and kitchens. The home was very comfortable and clean. The backyard was perfect for BBQ and summer evening bonfires. Also, very centrally located. Approx 12-15 minutes from Newport and close to Narragansett. We had a super time there and would love to rent this home again. Great response from the owner!
Lots of room, great kitchen, super frig. Yard spacious and private. 5th bed rm in basement not as show in pics. Location excellent. Plenty of parking. Would recommend this property. Loved the seafood and water activities.
