Great Time!

  • 5 of 5

This was the first time my family and I have rented a home and it was wonderful! The house was airy, big, and clean and had alot of things in the kitchen to start off with. I would like to help out the next person in providing some information however. The life jackets to use the canoe are outside next to the hot tub. The paddles are in a closet near the living room/hallway area. There are two items needed to be carried on your person to fish - a id tag hanging near the door your come in and a piece of paper in a baggie in the same area. There is a key to unlock the canoe as well. Also, there are two lakes you can fish from but only one lake you can swim at in the community - the canoe is at the one that you can swim at and it is the one that is further away (but not really that far away) from the cabin. There is a pathway you can use in the woods across the road to go to the fishing only lake but we never used that lake. Deer are very friendly at the house we got very close to one just a few feet away! Oh and it took me the whole week to find it but the fan's controls are upstairs in the pool area - it is a remote control only fan. The whole family loved the hot tub and house! Thank you for a great time.

We Keep Coming Back

  • 5 of 5

We just recently enjoyed our third stay at Jeanne and Andrew’s wonderful property. From our very first contact with Jeanne we have had nothing but positive experiences. We got a very fast response to our first inquiry and found all dealings to be both pleasant and professional. Jeanne provided plenty of useful information about the house and the area, and was very prompt with any questions or concerns we had. Our security deposits have always been returned quickly. We left behind some items on our first stay and Jeanne sent them to us quickly.

We stayed with our three boys aged 7 to 11 and two small dogs. Upon entering the house you instantly feel welcome and at home. Sometimes when you rent a pet friendly house you have to lower your standards a bit due to the wear and tear that can occur, but that is not the case in this home, it is immaculate. The house is tastefully decorated and provides all the comforts of home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and prepare meals. Everything is in good working order and well organized. The refrigerator, dishwasher and cooking area were perfectly clean and a joy to use. On our last visit we noticed a new, larger dining room table that seated all of us comfortably with room for more.

One of our favorite features of the house is the great room, with a large sectional couch and the huge stone chimney and propane fireplace. Overlooking the great room is a billiards room with electronic dartboard, which provided hours of entertainment. The first floor bedroom has a great king bed with very nice furniture and a ton of closet space. There is a full bathroom with a shower just outside of this bedroom as well as the laundry area with washer and dryer. The full bathroom on the second floor also has a bathtub. One bedroom here has a queen bed and a bunk set. The other bedroom has very nice queen bed setup. All the rooms have plenty of storage and were decorated with appropriate details that reminded you of the beautiful natural setting you are in.

The huge wrap around deck is great in nicer weather with a propane grill and patio table. The hot tub is close to the patio door (great when it’s freezing out)and has always been perfectly clean. The house provides plenty of privacy from neighbors, and is peaceful but also conveniently located near dining, shopping and the community's features. We are very grateful to Jeanne and Andrew for sharing this great place and look forward to our next stay!

wonderful weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful weekend! We were a group of 6 and even though it rained the whole time, we had a blast. There were tons of movies and games stocked in the cabin to keep us busy. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. We also hosted a murder-mystery game and it was the perfect setting. We are looking forward to coming back and would like to try it in the summer!

AWESOME!!!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this vacation home. Very clean and so much to do without even leaving the home. We loved everything about it.....the pool table, hot tub, and let me say that the king sized bed was probably the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in at any rental!!! Even though there were other homes right next door it still gave you a secluded feeling and it was very peaceful!! Would definitely recommend this home to anyone staying in this area!! Hope to return again sometime!! Booking was a breeze and Jeanne was very accommodating!! THANKS AGAIN FOR ALLOWING US TO STAY IN YOUR LOVELY HOME!!!! I would give you 10 stars but it only allows 5!! :) :)

Hope to Return soon!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I (dog included) stayed at this property for a week and had a wonderful time! The house was complete with everything we needed for the week. There were a couple of stormy nights and we were able to watch a few of the movies they have - there's a huge collection of DVDs! The pool table was the selling point for me (i love playing pool) and relaxing in the hot tub after swimming at the lake during the day was wonderful. The lake is about a 5-7 minute drive but is really nicely laid out - there is even a volleyball court nearby. The lifeguard who works there is also really nice and was helpful with directing us to other attractions in the area (like the casino theater - they will bring food to you while in the theater!). Overall, we had a great time and hope to return in the winter to experience a different seasonal setting! I would also like to thank the owners for being so helpful and for renting out this wonderful place. You have done a great job with making it as comfortable and accommodating as possible. Thanks again!

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We had the pleasure of spending the weekend at this wonderful home, nestled among the trees. It has 3 very comfortable bedrooms and great loft with pool table and darts. The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes and glasses you could need. We spent a good amount of the weekend relaxing in the hot tub and grilling on the spacious deck. This is the perfect home for all seasons.
