I like boating and my wife likes a short walk to the beach and a pool. This property had all of that! We also wanted a quiet area away the busy traffic noise of Estero Blvd. and away from the noise of Spring Break, yet be close enough to enjoy a short walk to Times Square for fun, shopping, night life, and restaurants.
Quiet area yet close to the beach & down town Times Square, has a pool, and is a water front property on a wide canal with a dock, boat lift and room for 2 boats. 3 of the 4 units have a screened-in lanai overlooking the pool, dock, and canal. Quick & easy off the Island to Fort Myers any time of the day. Getting to the house from Fort Myers is quickest early morning or late afternoon/evening.
My 9 y/o daughter & I stayed at Mike's place. It was located on a quiet little street & was very clean & comfortable for the 2 of us. I don't think I would put any additional people in our unit due to it's size but it was perfect for the 2 of us! It also had a set of stairs, for us was not a problem, but for some it may be. It was close to just about everything...if not, the trolley stopped at the end of the lane! It was everything as described. Mike was super nice & made sure I knew he was available if something came up. The pool was awesome! We drove down so we did not need to worry about extra luggage for bed sheets & linens but I could foresee a problem if we took a plane. Walmart is just across the bridge if anything else was needed. There was not a lot of drinking cups & bowls & the utensils were old. I did not cook at all...I was on vacation! I did purchase a couple cereal bowls though. If you stay, you really need to have breakfast at Reese's & order the french toast-out of this world! Overall it was a great little place & if only 2 of us go again, we will definitely get in touch with Mike!
Upon arrival, I walked straight to the dock because I love the water so much. It is beautiful!!! However, once we got inside, my breath was literally taken away as we walked through this awesome place. I really can't put into words how much we loved it here. The owner is very nice and provided an experience way beyond our expectations. You won't be disappointed.
My husband, dog and I thoroughly our stay in this apartment at Ft. Myers Beach. The location was perfect for our boating and surfing and the owner was most pleasant, showing up with a space heater when the temperature plunged. The apartment was spacious and extremely clean. Thank you for a perfect trip.
