I traveled to the mountains where the eagles made their nests. There I saw the hand of God: I saw creation at its best.......

Wow' what a great 4th July weekend. We came up here with our family and friends, and enjoyed the cabin so much. There was plenty of room for 4 adults,4 teens/preteens and infant. We cooked on the grill you provided, sat at the picnic table, played games, watched the kids run around in the yard and roll down the hill-such a lovely space. The buffalo were entertaining, the miniature donkey adorable, the views constantly changing and beautiful. The rooms were so beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, as was the amazing porch. Pillows and blankets on a porch- so luxurious. Oh-and we loved the mountain laurel railings-very cool. Thank you for a great weekend
We had a wonderful visit at Country Haven. The home was very clean and well equipped with anything we needed. We had 2 young children with us and they loved being able to play outside in the yard and look at the animals next door. The location was very convenient for visiting downtown Asheville. We would definitely return for another visit.
Country Haven is gorgeous! Thanks so much for having us. We had wheelchair/cane in the first bedroom, a baby in the 2nd with Mommy, and toddler upstairs with Daddy - perfect set up. We also loved visiting the donkeys and buffalo nearby every night (although as native South Dakotans got a little worried about tetonka so close to us, glad for the electric fence)!!! Spent two days at the Biltmore as we didn't find downtown to be super accessible with wheelchair and strollers (especially parking) - but the Biltmore did not disappoint! House tour and gardens day 1, Antler Hill Village day 2. The azaleas and tulips were in about in full bloom. We also visited the Lexington Glass Factory downtown and watched a demonstration. Such a great vacation - thanks for having us!
The cabin is exactly as described. One of our favorite touches was the blankets outside so coffee could be enjoyed in rocking chairs even on a chilly morning. The inside is beautiful and it was nice that so much was provided in the cabin. The drive to Asheville is not bad at all. It is actually nice to be away from the hustle of Asheville. Would recommend to anyone trying to plan a wonderful mountain getaway!
We had a group of 5 gals for a weekend getaway. The cabin was beautiful, had everything we needed, and there was enough space for everyone to be comfortable all weekend. The scenery was beautiful and the location was excellent - secluded enough to feel private and cozy but close enough (within 15-20 minutes) of the restaurants in downtown Asheville. A wonderful and relaxing weekend, demanding a repeat!
We loved the Country Haven cabin, it was beautiful, clean, cozy (the bed I stayed in was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed) and decorated so perfectly! The scenery was breathtaking and we loved seeing the buffalo outside! The only minor problem we had was a few stink bugs but there were only a few and it certainly didn't ruin our time there. It's also a quick trip to downtown Asheville- maybe 15 minutes. The neighbor across the street was very friendly and helped us out by taking our group photo in front of the cabin! Would love to come back again.
