GULF STRAND CONDOMINIUM, Unit 306, is a 1-bedroom condo located in the middle of the building on the 3rd floor with a side view of the beach from the balcony.

White sand beaches with many water activities. Perfect for small families and couples. Relax and enjoy the beach. The condo is located a few blocks away(.7 miles) from the famous Loews Don CeSar Beach Resort(3400 Gulf Blvd).
There are many restaurants and bars in the area and the property is across the street from the Dolphin Village Shopping Center (grocery store and retail shops). This Non-Smoking condo has a master bedroom which includes a king-size bed and has an attached bathroom. The living room has a sofa bed (sleeps 1-2), recliner chair and television cabinet with a new LCD tv. Travertine tile has been installed throughout the kitchen and living room. Allure Tile has been installed in the bedroom. We have 1 blow up mattress for use on the floor.
The condo also includes a second bathroom as well as a stackable washer and dryer purchased in March 2016. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, electric range and microwave oven which allows you to prepare meals in the condo. The balcony has a table and chairs. Both the owner and guests have placed beach chairs on the balcony for use on the beach.
New window treatments in the kitchen, living room, and bedroom were purchased and installed in Spring 2016.
Gulf Strand has had Brighthouse Cable installed in each condo bundled with movie channel(s), phone and Wi-Fi Internet Service in December 2015.

Visited St Pete Beach as a child on family vacations
Just spent 3 weeks in this unit. Not sure why I was expecting any improvements at "The Strand" having stayed there a few times previously. The office staff are wonderful and do what they can...but this isn't their problem. The owners need to wake up and smarten these units up! First thing I noticed was that the tub plug was eroded & was replaced at my request.Then the ghost ants were all over the counters and in the drawers "gross" Somebody knew about it cause there were ant traps (3) in various locations. Thanks to Betty for giving us a treatment method for that. The blinds in the bedroom were hanging off.. three were missing all together and we kept having to put back up in place. We actually undressed with lights off so the outside couldn't see in. Really? This place needs a woman's touch....one that knows how to clean. For heavens sake...take some pride! The real kicker was the "Free WiFi" posted on the sign outside. Can you say "false advertising"?? No long distance allowance and little to no WiFi is huge when you are staying for 3 weeks trying to do your banking and staying in touch with family. Apparently they are changing the WiFi....whatever.....didn't help me during my stay...my last stay I might add. Typical...take..take...take! I won't even get started on the cleanliness....cause it doesn't exist. I hate being the bearer of bad news but if someone doesn't speak up nothing will change. (That's if anyone actually gets a rats ass)
